Petrus Romanus Author Update: The Dissolution of the Papacy Into Limp Wristed Liberalism?
As Petrus Romanus the Final Pope is Here co-written by myself and Thomas Horn was recently released in a new edition, recent actions by Pope Francis necessitate a response. Of course, his arrival was controversial. Pope Benedict XVI’s February 11, 2013 announcement was unprecedented because the last pope to resign was Gregory XII in 1415 nearly six hundred years ago. We did not venture this hypothesis uninformed. In his book, Pope Benedict XVI Light of the World, when asked if he thought it appropriate for a pope to retire he responded:
“If a pope clearly realizes that he is no longer physically, psychologically and spiritually capable of handling the duties of his office, then he has a right and, under some circumstances, also an obligation to resign.”[1]
We correlated Pope Benedict’s predisposition to retire with the work of the Jesuit scholar Rene Thibaut who predicted the final pope on Malachy’s list would arrive in April of 2012. Of course, the year 2012 came and went with seemingly no fulfillment. Consequently, we were a little disappointed when it seemed like Thibaut was mistaken. As it turns out, Thiabut was far more correct—astoundingly so—than anyone would ever imagine until February 2013! According to the NY Times:
That the resignation was long in the planning was confirmed by Giovanni Maria Vian, the editor of the Vatican newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano, who wrote on Monday that the pope’s decision “was taken many months ago,” after his trip to Mexico and Cuba in March 2012, “and kept with a reserve that no one could violate.”[2]
In other words, Pope Benedict officially and secretly resigned right when Thibaut—and we—speculated he would in 2012, and then his February 11, 2013 public affirmation was quickly punctuated by a dramatic lightning bolt striking St. Peter’s basilica.[3] Indeed, it came to pass and many former skeptics began to take Petrus Romanus seriously.
According to the prophecy of St. Malachy, Peter the Roman has arrived. Pope Francis, formerly known as Jorge Mario Bergoglio the son of Italian immigrants to Argentina, has assumed the 112th position on Malachy’s famous list. While shallow skeptics were quick to point out “his name is not Peter” their complaint betrays ignorance and a lack of imagination. We stated from the beginning that the title “Peter the Roman” was symbolic. All popes claim apostolic succession from Peter and for this reason it is called the Petrine office. They claim to sit on the chair of St. Peter and in this way all popes are Peters. For instance, this Tom Horn interview by World Net Daily prior to Pope Francis election:
Regardless, Horn said he’s always maintained that it doesn’t take someone whose Christian name is Peter to fulfill the prophecy. “In fact, if any Italian is elected, that would be a fairly transparent fulfillment,” he said. Moreover, he argued, “in a very general sense, every pope could be regarded as ‘Peter the Roman,’ and in that sense, this could be the last one.”[4]
Scholars who study the prophecy unanimously come to a similar conclusion—that the title “Petrus Romanus” (Peter the Roman) was symbolic and not indicative of a birth name. Over 60 years ago, Thibaut similarly rejected the possibility of a pope literally named Peter and wrote that the name symbolized the totality of the papacy:
We therefore reject the Roman appointed Peter as the impossible Peter II. There is only one Peter, the first of the Roman pontiffs, and he saw in his many successors. He still to serve in the final as in the first persecution. We believe Petrus Romanus represents all the Roman Pontiffs from St. Peter to the recipient Gloria Olivae.[5]
In Thibaut’s reckoning all the ambitions and pretensions of the papal dynasty are now encompassed in one man, Pope Francis. Could this be the case? Perhaps it actually marks the dissolution of the papacy as Rome is judged in accord with “City of Seven Hills will be destroyed” at the culmination of the Malachy prophecy.
The Argentine Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio has chosen Francis as his papal name, a first in tribute to Francis of Assisi. It is noteworthy that St. Francis of Assisi’s long Italian name is Francesco di Pietro di Bernardone, a title that can accurately be viewed as “Peter the Roman” from the final line in the Prophecy of the Popes. Since the phrase that supplanted the birth name Giovanni is Francesco di Pietro, and that by sainthood, it is safe to say that by choosing Francis of Assisi’s name, he in effect chose Francesco di Pietro, and he is unlikely to prefer truncation of the Pietro element since Catholicism esteems Peter as the rock of the church and spuriously maintains he was the first pope. Rome was an empire and a city so Bergoglio’s Italian ancestry arguably meets the Roman aspect in a similar way. Accordingly, many argue that Bergoglio has fulfilled the Peter the Roman title with his choice of papal name.
As the 2013 conclave concluded Bergoglio said he chose the original papal name Francis after St. Francis of Assisi when Cardinal Claudio Hummes exhorted him to “remember the poor.”[6] The reader might recall that our book Petrus Romanus cited an apocalyptic prediction by Pope Francis’ namesake, made soon after St. Malachy’s Prophecy concerning a Final Pope:
“At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and death… Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it…for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.”[7]
Was there something uncannonical about the election of Pope Francis? Well for starters, Pope Benedict XVI’s retirement makes for an unprecedented situation. When a pope is elected, the Church expects that he will remain in office until his death. I wonder what its like to be infallible one day and wake up fallible the next? Before now, only five popes unambiguously resigned with historical certainty, all between the tenth and fifteenth centuries. Arguably, that makes Bergoglio’s election suspect but, apparently, not a violation of cannon law. While Pope Francis represents many firsts, overall, the most interesting aspect is his status as the first ever Jesuit Pope.
The whistle blower insider, Malachi Martin, former Jesuit and advisor to three popes, who wrote a best-selling expose, The Jesuits: The Society of Jesus and the Betrayal of the Roman Catholic Church, accusing the order of systematically undermining Church teachings and replacing them with new world order doctrines. The first lines of the book state:
A state of war exists between the papacy and the Religious Order of the Jesuits—the Society of Jesus, to give the Order its official name. That war signals the most lethal change to take place within the ranks of the professional Roman clergy over the last thousand years. And, as with all important events in the Roman Catholic Church, it involves the interests, the lives, and the destinies of ordinary men and women in their millions. [8]
It seems rather obvious that the first Jesuit pope (Pope Francis) indicates the Jesuits won that war and to the victors go the spoils.Most probably a new level of ecumenism that will culminate in the one world religion, after all, the word catholic means “universal.” We suggest he could be the biblical false prophet “Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon” (Revelation 13:11). In regard to “horns like a lamb,” we expect Pope Francis may first usher in a new liberalized ecumenism rather than hard core old line papal domineering. New details are coming out daily but as of this writing, the media are reporting that Cardinal Bergoglio supported homosexual unions in Argentina as a “lesser of evils” solution to that countries homosexual lobby.[9]
Interestingly, the Pope also criticized conservative Catholics for protesting abortion and same-sex marriage. When asked about homosexual priests who had infiltrated the Roman system he replied, “Who am I to judge?” startling words from the so-called vicar of Christ. He also implied atheists can be saved by obeying their conscience. As a result, secular humanists, abortionists and homosexuals are beside themselves with joy. Even more offensive to traditional Catholics, Pope Francis gave communion to infant holocaust perpetrators Joseph Biden and Nancy Pelosi. A priest expressed his disgust, “At a Mass during which our new Pope emphasized the duty public officials – and all the rest of us – have to protect the weakest among us, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi have the audacity to receive Communion while publicly renouncing their responsibility to protect the weakest among us.”[10] Yet, it is not the audacity of the two baby murdering politicians that is in question; it is the utter lack of resolve displayed by Pope Francis. Perhaps, in a supreme irony, Petrus Romanus will mark the dissolution of the papacy into limp wristed liberalism?

According to Catholic saints, mystics and seers, there are to be a min of three more Popes.
The next pope, possibly called Pius XIII (from St. Pius X’s vision of a pope who has to flee the Vatican over the dead bodies of many priests “of like name”) will shock the world as he will return the Church to its previous Vatican II rituals, doctrines, etc, and he will condemn all since Vatican II including the Council and possibly the last four or five popes and much more with the full power of the Papacy. This immediately causes civil wars and revolutions most violent in history, in Europe and America. Within months of this Russia and China attack Europe and America. This pope will have to flee Rome and go into hiding where eventually they find him and kill him. Following will be a three or four year WW3 with no pope and the Church leaderless and seemingly in ruins, which ends with the Three Days Darkness foretold by many saints and mystics, this event forces an end to WW3 and kills what remains of all the peoples and forces that were against God and His Church both “within” and without.
Then at the end of WW3e, the remainder of Catholic hierarchy conclave and elect a new Pope, this Pope will be elected by St’s. Peter and Paul themselves, who appear in the conclave and signal whom is to be the next Pope. This pope will be a saint, a real saint, with miraculus powers and miricales and the Catholic Church will be more resplendent than ever before, all so-called Christian religions will come back into the true Catholic Church, now purified and stronger than at any time in history. This pope reigns for how long we are not sure, but he is not Peter II. So is there a pope or two inbetween here, we do not know, but miystics seem to indicate that Peter II is the next and last Pope and his name will be Peter II.
In a nutshell this article is just a fiction of their minds and has no real relation to what is about to happen. They might have done better if they had read the many Catholic saints, seers, mystics who have warned of what is about to happen.
I find it rather interesting that you are accusing Cris and Tom of perpetrating a fiction when in reality, their book is about one of the few Catholic prophecies that can be shown to have accurately fulfilled its claims on a number of levels, whereas your claims as to the true prophecies of “saints, mystics, an seers” are just that… claims and visions with no reason to suppose they are accurate.

What is so “Limp Wristed” about liberty? Seems to me it’s one of the hardest fights going. What is so wonderful about being the property of another, that you nay say freedom?

It seems evident that “Extraordinary Intelligence” is severely lacking in “intelligence” with a small “i”.

Father Herman Kramers “The Book of Destiny” pub. 1956, which is the most detailed study ever done on the Apocalypse describes a WW3, a martyred Pope just prior and one or two more Popes afterwards.

“Do not judge” is the Liberal Biblical argument used against Christians who evidently are to take everything and anything that is against its core beliefs and simply acquiesce, based on a misinterpretation of a single Biblical axiom. Pope Francis is wrong when he asks, “Who am I to judge…the offending pedophile clergy.”
There are many instances in the Bible that require judgment, one of them referring to the necessity of the chastisement of children that requires a judgment in order to be enforced. Judgment usually requires discernment and discrimination (a bad Liberal word) that results in an option to do one thing or the other, resulting in a choice that can be good, bad or indifferent. Another Bible instance narrates that when correcting a brother who will not listen, bring in two more witnesses to testify in the attempt to try correcting the wayward individual.
Christianity is held in contempt by the most visible “Christian” in the US, President Barack Hussein Obama, who caters to Islam while belittling, inhibiting, and actually persecuting Christianity. Senator Rand Paul claims that “The Worldwide War on Christians is being waged by a fanatical element of Islam.” If that is true, and Obama is doing the same thing, Islam trumps Christianity in the White House.
Jesuit Pope Good For Church?
I do not think Pope Benedict should have resigned as the Holy Spirit is in charge despite human frailties. As to Pope Francis, I am fearful because Jesuits were supposed to be defenders of the Pope and now that one of their own is Pope, I literally quake in my boots because from my understanding, at least one Pope wanted to disband the Jesuits. Francis has already caused havoc within the church with his comment, “Who am I to Judge,” homosexual pervert priests and bishops that sexually abused altar boys and nearly brought the church crashing down. A second comment was to the effect that it was possible to gain eternal salvation WITHOUT Jesus Christ. There is such a thing as “Baptism of Desire” but that was not spoken to.
Case in point of Jesuits not following commands of the church, in the US, 20 of 25 Jesuit institutions of higher learning are considered not to be catholic. I was Jesuit educated by them at St. Joseph’s in Phila PA Class of 1953, when it was still an all-boys school. In retrospect, I remember how I allowed myself to deviate from the spirit of fasting during Lent and Advent when one of the most popular Jesuit priests on campus schmoozed with the guys, many of whom at that time were war veterans.
Anyway, as to fasting, this Jesuit said it was okay to liquefy solid foods, like for instance, ice cream and bananas in a milkshake. Also as to the two smaller meals not exceeding the main meal, to either eat a really large meal as the main meal, insuring that the other two combined did not exceed that glutinous meal. Or simply eating two big meals insuring that one of them was smaller than the other. I am embarrassed to admit that I did just that on many occasions.
I have two daughters and a granddaughter who chose on their own without prompting from me to attend St Joe’s that had by then become co-ed. My wife and I attended orientation for the first daughter and as we toured the newer buildings and dormitories, I opened the door of one and lying on the bed was a couple, fully clothed, but a scandal nonetheless, with Jesuit open housing policies. Following that we attended Mass in the Field House, and prancing around the altar were scantily clad girls doing some kind of what I have to say was a pagan type ritual.
Recently I have traded e-mails with Notre Dame as regards their conferring their highest honor to President Obama who used the occasion to promote abortion, to seek an impossible middle ground between life and death. My argument with Father Jenkins got carried to Father Privett SJ, President of University of San Francisco, California (USF-CA), and we had many e-mail exchanges in regards to ObamaCare that he favored. I declared that ObamaCare allowed abortion, a fact Fr. Privett denied as he challenged me to show him where that was in the Bill.
My answer was that I did not need to read the Bill that no one read as testified to by the devout (her words) catholic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who infamously said, “We have to pass this Bill so we can see what is in it.” My response to Fr. Privett was that the mere absence of abortion as an exception to coverage, meant that it was in fact covered, something we have unfortunately discovered.
ObamaCare might never have passed muster except for the direct influence and intervention of Sister Carol Keehan, head of the 60,000 Nun Catholic Hospital Association, (CHA). Sr. Keehan falsely reassured Blue Dog Pro-Life Democrat Bart Stupak with a promise of a fake Executive Order denying abortion payments, and a half dozen others that there was no abortion in the ObamaCare Bill, enabling passage by the thinnest of margins. The USCCB Catholic Bishops were basically in favor of this legislation.
Not only that but catholic HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was responsible for writing the 15,000 pages of regulations that forced catholics to pay for abortions, contraceptives, and abortifacients like RU486 that can now be sold without parental consent or prescription, over the counter to girls as low as 11 years old. So if catholics and conservatives are now crying in their beer, they did it to themselves.
ObamaCare is now officially the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that is proving itself to be so unaffordable as it may be the economic train wreck as described by Democratic politicians. ACA implementation is a maze with no exit absent disaster, but the lemmings march on relentlessly toward economic disaster. The only rationale is that this disaster is perhaps the original intent.
Getting back to Fr. Privett, I reminded him that USF-CA was no longer considered to be catholic and I accused him of saying just that, something he denied vehemently. He demanded that I show him in our e-mails where he said that, and I sent him a copy of his earlier e-mail in which he confessed that many believed that to be the case.
His angry retort was that I took his statements out of context, but I quoted his exact e-mail, character for character including his punctuation. His angry response was that he wanted to be removed from my mailing list. How about that. A high powered Jesuit calling quits to a debate of political-religious related issue with the famous, “NO MAS.”
Jesuit Georgetown, the first catholic university in America, invited President Obama to their graduation, and before he spoke, asked Georgetown to cover up the symbols of Jesus so they could not be seen as he spoke, and right, you guessed it, Jesuit Georgetown sold out the Savior to accommodate this Muslim President.
Yes Obama is Muslim, which by Islamic Law is passed from father to son, and since Obama had a Muslim father and Muslim stepfather, he can only leave Islam by death as a heretic as he was baptized, OR Muslims can lie if it advances the cause of Islam.
Obama in an address he gave at the 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 25, 2012 (AP), “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam.” The latest insult to America is Obama declaring November to be “Muslim Appreciation Month,” no doubt in appreciation for the dastardly deeds of 9/11/2001 and Benghazi 9/11/2012.
So is Obama Christian or Muslim? Obama always sides with Islamist radicals, apologizes to Muslims when he visits their countries, and celebrates Ramadan in the White House with known Islamic terrorist leaders while ignoring the National Day of Prayer.
Obama demeans, insults, and persecutes Christianity by forcing Christians to act against their faith in the name of “Law of the Land,” the exact “Law of the Land that held slavery to be legal, and denied the right of women to vote.
Let the facts speak for themselves, and America should be on guard from the occupier in the Trojan Horse White House. The enemy within is the worst. But Pope John Paul II lent prestige to Islam by listing it in praise ahead of Protestant Christians and Jews in at least one of his letters.
The US is plagued by its own version of Vatican City secrecy and corruption within from top to bottom. At the Vatican, the plague of offending sexual predator priests has yet to be properly addressed in the light of day, while the known homosexual lobby is calling what shots? With God and Jesus Christ effectually criminalized in America, Washington DC cannot expect to fare much better.
The Catholic Church is the latest Church scheduled for top down destruction. Think PCUSA, Episopcal Church, ELCA Lutherans and the UCC came before. All of these Denominations have been corrupted to immorality with Gay and PC stuff from their leaderships. The ONLY difference now is that the impact will be worse and larger as the Catholic Church has nearly 1.4 Billion Christians and has a higher degree of Institutional loyalty to their top guy-the Pope. Benedict was sidelined, Cardinals were blackmailed and we now have the Catholic Obama. Catholics that are true to their faith must admit that this man is giving comfort the enemy and will destroy their Institutional Church. Yet they should not worry about this now as the Eucharist is real and the hearts and minds of true believers will continue on.

Though, if I recall the hoards called Jesus worse names than that. In fact they nailed his limp wrists to a cross. Imagine that.
Maybe some of you would like “Arnold the Terminator” at the helm?
Though, if you indeed believe yourself to be a “follower of Christ” you might want to read the Bible rather than thump it and you might find that the man who did not judge, but forgave is the one you need to emulate if you dare.

This biblical false prophet Francis is setting up the world for the one world antichrist religion, with a veneer of Christianity. His liberalism will soon deny the Divinity of Jesus.
