Super Bowl Stupidity Or Intention?

It has been ridiculed as, perhaps, the ‘worst call in Super Bowl history’; or, even, the ‘worst call in the history of sports’ :

And that, of course, is the ‘narrative’ that the mainstream media appears to be pursuing with a vengeance; that this utterly disastrous play call was the result of stupidity.

But what if, as always, the mainstream media is WRONG?

What if stupidity had NOTHING to do with it?

What if, instead, stupidity is merely the excuse always used by everyone in a position of power—for example, the media officials, the politicians and the religious ‘authorities’—to cover up for the fact that what is involved in their decision-making processes is not stupidity at all but intention?

There are, of course, certain quite tangible benefits to hundreds of millions or billions of people believing that those in positions of power act on the basis of stupidity rather than intention (look at the foreign policy of Israel and the United States, for example).

First of all, it absolves those in power of all responsibility for their actions.

And, secondly, it provides an opportunity for hundreds of millions of people to laugh at, ridicule, and feel self-righteous and superior in relation to those in power.

But those whose perceptions of reality have been distorted by the strangle-hold of such emotions will never be able to realize that people do not acquire power by being stupid…

And that, if people are not stupid, they are then responsible for their actions.

In other words, the ‘narrative’ always provided by the media is precisely that ‘narrative’ that is most effective in preserving the power of the politicians, the religious ‘authorities’ and the media officials themselves.

Thus, the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious ‘authorities’ are NOT denying and contradicting the Truth about “the resurrection” because they are too STUPID to understand that it refers to a Doctrine of ‘Rebirth’.

The politicians are NOT ignoring the theological origins of the religious conflicts in the Middle East because they are too STUPID to understand that the doctrines of theology are intrinsic to those conflicts.

Nor are the media officials—for example, the editor of the Jerusalem Post—censoring the Truth about “the resurrection” because they are too STUPID to understand that it is a Doctrine of ‘Rebirth’.

But, in the final analysis, it makes no difference if it is stupidity or intention.

The result is the same.
