OZ = 1526
The numerical value of the letters O and Z is 1526. The number 1526 in the Strong’s Concordance of the Holy Bible means: an inhabitant of Giloh.
The origin of the word Giloh is Hebrew word H1540 gâlâh meaning: to exile.
The land of OZ is a dreamland that Dorothy was exiled into! This is exactly parallel to the Biblical narrative of being exiled from heaven to the dreamworld here on earth!
In order to get back home, Dorothy searches to find the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, she runs into the Scarecrow who needs a new mind, the Tin Man who needs a heart and the Cowardly Lion who needs courage.
Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Ezekiel 36:26 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.”
Psalm 27:14 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
This is exactly what happens when you are converted by Christ; you receive a new mind, heart, and courage by the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! (The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, read Revelation 5:5).
Dorothy and the gang travel down the yellow brick road and finally find the castle of the Wizard of Oz. After rejection from the Wizard of Oz, they are led on a long adventure to recover the broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West and to appease the Wizard of Oz.
When they return, the Wizard of Oz is not pleased and Toto pulls back the curtain revealing the snake oil salesman behind the veil. The Wizard of Oz is abashed and apologetic, and quickly finds ways to help Dorothy’s friends: a diploma for the Scarecrow, a medal of valor for the Lion, and a testimonial heart-shaped watch for the Tin Man. Then he reveals that he is from Kansas as well and came to Oz in a hot-air balloon, in which he proposes to take Dorothy home.
TOTO = TO TURN, OVERTURN
The numerical value of the letters T and O is 2015. The number 2015 in the Strong’s Concordance of the Holy Bible means: to turn, overturn.
Toto was used to turn, overturn the veil revealing the Wizard of Oz! During the finale of the movie Toto chases after a cat and jumps out of the hot-air balloon commissioned by the Wizard of Oz to get back home to Kansas, which causes Dorothy to fail to ride home in the hot-air balloon as she runs after Toto.
Toto is a dog. ‘Dog’ with the spelling turned backwards is ‘God’ and just as Toto was used to turn, overturn the veil exposing the Wizard of Oz as a snake oil salesman, we must turn from the power of Satan (the snake) to God (Jesus Christ) in order to truly get back home to heaven.
Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, appears and explains that Dorothy has always had the power within to get home; Glinda didn’t tell her before because Dorothy wouldn’t have believed it.
To truly get back home to heaven, one must believe in Christ, which is possible with the new heart, mind and courageous faith granted within us by Christ.
Remember, the letter T and the letter O is numerically equal to 20 and 15. But Toto is comprised of two TO’s.
This led us to look at the two definitions of the number 2105 in the Bible, the second of which is Greek word G2015 ἐπιφάνεια epiphaneia meaning: appearing, manifestation, glorious display.
The context of the Greek word ἐπιφάνεια epiphaneia, emphasizes the fitting impact Christ’s visible appearance will have on the entire world!
When the name Toto is decoded using the Bible it equals: to turn, overturn and appearing, manifestation, glorious display - emphasizing the fitting impact Christ’s visible appearance will have on the entire world!
Just like Toto led Dorothy to the truth of how to get home, the same thing happens when Christ reveals himself to you after repentance. Repentance opens your eyes and turns you from the power of Satan (the snake oil salesman) unto God (The Lord Jesus Christ) and you can now see the appearing, manifestation, and glorious display of Christ!
