Reading these scriptures it is quite clear that we are aliens and this world is our foreign residence!

That question can be answered by understanding who has been ruling this world throughout the ages.

The word ‘chains’ is the Greek word G1199 δεσμόν desmon, δεσμός desmos and is defined in the Strongs Concordance as: a band, that is, ligament (of the body) or shackle (of a prisoner).
Thereby, we have established that we are all angels that left our first estate, our own residence, and was exiled from heaven to the foreign residence of this world by being born into ligaments (of the body) which are shackles (of a prisoner).
Simply put: You Are an Angel That Was Birthed into the Flesh, which explains exactly why the Bible declares we are aliens and sojourners here in this world!
THE LOCAL LANGUAGE
How does one realize that they are in a foreign land?
One way to recognize that you are in a foreign land would be if you didn’t understand the local language.
