THE STRANGEST SECRET – THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST — PART EIGHT

If I tell you the truth you will not believe me, but if I LIE to you, you will believe it – why is that?

2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

Paul is looking for the Christians brethren to acknowledge that the MYSTERY OF GOD AND CHRIST has been shown to them by Divine revelation, for God and Christ are in fact a MYSTERY, HIDDEN AWAY, SECRET AND JESUS WAS VERY BLUNT – HE WOULD REVEAL HIMSELF TO ANYONE HE CHOSE!!

Arguing for 1 Enoch’s “proper place” today, one (seemingly) Gnostic apologist states “Enoch had found and experienced God face-to-face, something which Gnostics strive for. The Church opposed Gnostics… Experiencing God was taboo… Putting a stamp of approval on such a wild tale (Enoch) would have too many people believing that they could experience God for themselves, instead of going into a church and being told what to believe… Those who experienced visions or personal insights became dangerous to the church. They could lead people astray by supporting independent thought and actions (3).”

“ It’s quite difficult to seriously consider this argument however, in light of the fact that a more common criticism of Catholicism is that they “worship,” or at least perhaps TOO highly esteem, those who have had profound mystical experiences with God! For that matter, the Bible is NOTHING BUT a collection of “those who experienced visions or personal insights.” It would quite a thin book if all such stories were left out!

The truth is that Gnostics “strive(d) for” experiencing God without knowing and submitting to Christ or His Body, the church. Even today, the wish to “experience God face-to-face” without Christ’s mediation (1 Timothy 2:5) is not just an honest effort to avoid false religion (of which there is much), but to not submit to any spiritual authority at all…”

(This is such a ridiculous statement I have to comment on it) – the command of Jesus Christ was to SEEK HIM OUT WITH ALL DILIGENCE, TO ASK, SEEK, KNOCK AND STRIVE FOR THE TRUTH. How is it then, that the Bible itself says “you have no need of men to teach you…” because the Holy Spirit ALONE will teach the believer? How is it then that those WHO DO THIS, and fully obey the Lord, are not submitting to any SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY AT ALL? What a true heresy that is – the Gnostics are in point of fact SUBMITTING TO THE FULL AUTHORITY OF THE GODHEAD, and the established Church refuses to do so!!

In the Old Testament we find God commanding the individual believer to SEARCH FOR THE LORD WITH ALL THEIR MIND, STRENGTH, HEART, AND ALL OF THEIR SOUL and if they would, they would find Him. To do so is to SUBMIT AND OBEY the commands of the Lord. How can anyone say they are not submitting to any spiritual authority? No, this is all a church power and control play, submit yourself to unsaved, unregenerate liars and deceivers, but DO NOT submit yourself to the direct commands of your Lord. What a TOTAL FRAUD!!!

The point here is that the modern-day Church has NOTHING to do with the real truth, but is rather a POWER PLAY to usurp the authority of Christ and place it in the hands of unregenerate men and women who “claim” to represent Jesus Christ. Peter speaks of these imposters who are total liars and their damnation slumbers not. Jesus called them wolves in sheep’s clothing. In the Book of Revelation John portrays the modern Christian Church as a monster, an evil monster. In that regard the Protestants are no different than the Catholics, for none of them obey Christ and that is exactly why they are sent away. They blatantly refused the direct commands of Jesus Christ to search Him out.  

“…but to not submit to any spiritual authority at all – whether it be God’s Church, God’s Word or even God’s Christ! It should always be kept in perspective that “the church” was not Rome’s, or even man’s idea. Jesus said “I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it (Mt 16:18).” The early church rightly opposed Gnosticism, but beginning with Paul’s letters, not with the Roman Church…”

Again, a total lie, for Paul himself taught that FINDING THE TRUTH OF THE MYSTERY OF GOD was REQUIRED!! Well, there is a TRUE CHURCH, and then there is the FALSE MEGA CHURCH. This person is so deceived that it is astounding. Yet here is the main argument against the “Gnostics” and today’s Christians believe it, which is why I presented it.

IS THIS GNOSTIC ENCOUNTER SALVATION?

We will explore this more in Chapter Four, for we have seen only a few of the Gnostic encounter verses and there are many. It boils down to a fully experiential encounter with the Divine. Does that mean that anyone who does not have this encounter is lost? You saw the remarks of Jesus Christ in Matthew Seven. He said bluntly that the only reason He sent the millions of Christians away was for only one reason: HE NEVER CAME INTO AN EXPERIENTIAL ENCOUNTER OF UNION WITH THEM. He never “experientially knew” who they were. There was never a “Spock” MEETING mind melt moment to coin a New Age term, and STAR TREK is clearly occult to its core, but this encounter with Christ is very close to what this is – a revelation of Christ, and if He is accepted, A JOINING TOGETHER OF MINDS. Look up the word “quickening” or “quicken” if you don’t believe it.

Let’s turn to John who gives us many clues as to what this Gnostic encounter really is and what it entails:

1 John 3:1-2

3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

How can anyone read this and not understand what is being said here? First of all, look at the word “behold.” It is “eido” which means to look upon, to perceive, to see. It is essentially the same as SEE or MANIFEST. We are to BEHOLD THE DIVINE LOVE OF CHRIST, we are to LOOK UPON IT, SEE IT, PERCEIVE IT and UNDERSTAND IT. Why?

God tells us that unless TWO BE IN AGREEMENT, they cannot walk together. So how can you agree to walk with God in the NEW COVENANT unless He shows you what He wants? How can you agree with God that His love type (what manner) of DIVINE LOVE is far superior to your own if you have not looked upon it and been shown it? You see, this is why Jesus commanded us to come to THE LIGHT TO HAVE OUR DEEDS REPROVED. He also told us the vast majority of people would not do it:

John 3:19-21

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Do you see how simple this really is? The LIGHT OF CHRIST is DIVINE AGAPE LOVE. Every single person on Earth will be judged AGAINST the LOVE OF CHRIST. No one can stand, because no one has it within them. They lost DIVINE AGAPE at the fall of mankind. It is NOT in them. It is not in man’s nature at all. Mankind is DEVOID of DIVINE LOVE. Therefore, he will, at the judgment, FALL INTO RUIN. Christ came and showed us the way to COME TO THE LIGHT TO HAVE OUR DEEDS REPROVED or JUDGED. We stand before Christ and look into what His Love really is, and we compare that to our own “love deeds” in our life. We fall terribly short.

That is THE JUDGMENT. We are lost. Christ then steps forward and will offer HIS LOVE TO YOU, TO COVER YOU AND YOUR SINS. This is the offer of the WHITE ROBES OF CHRIST. If you accept HIS LOVE, there is a LOVE TYPE EXCHANGE. Your fallen and defective self-centered love for His. That is true Biblical repentance, it is a LOVE TYPE CHANGE.

So then, when the Bible says FIRST TO DIE, THEN THE JUDGMENT, Christ is offering you the strait gate and narrow way for a mysterious DEATH and you journey to the LOWEST ROOM and the PIT OF DEATH, and this is a very strange walk, a WAY YOU KNOW NOT, unless you have walked it. Paul said, “WE KNOW WE HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST.” He was referring to the DEATH OF THE NARROW WAY. It is done while you are still alive and walking around, and there is nothing like this narrow way. Hollywood could never come up with anything even close to what this walk really is, and FEW THERE BE that will undertake it, not because they cannot, but because they are too married to the world to do it.

Inasmuch as CHRIST is THAT LIGHT, then what are we being told? That we must, once again, have an esoteric and Gnostic experiential ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIST to have our judgment WHILE WE ARE YET ALIVE. Remember that God says HE IS THE GOD OF THE LIVING, NOT OF THE DEAD?

That means Jesus Christ gave you, out of His MERCY, COMPASSION AND GRACE, the right to enter in at the STRAIT GATE, walk the NARROW WAY to the LIGHT OF CHRIST, to be judged, found guilty and then BE OFFERED ETERNAL LIFE.

He also says that men loved darkness and would not come to the light. It should be obvious to you by now that the MANY CHRISTIANS NEVER EVER CAME TO THE LIGHT WHO IS CHRIST. If they had, He would KNOW THEM.

Do you see what happened to the many Christians that Christ sends away? HE IS THE LIGHT, and they NEVER CAME TO THE LIGHT, thus they NEVER UNDERWENT “ONCE TO DIE AND THEN THE JUDGMENT.” They refused this judgment that Christ offered. They die in their sins, and Jesus cannot offer them salvation then, for it only applies WHILE YOU ARE ALIVE.

And notice John says that this BESTOWEMENT of this DIVINE AGAPE LOVE is what makes us a SON OF GOD. That means that the soul CAME TO THE LIGHT, HAD THEIR DEEDS REPROVED, ACCEPTED THE TERMS OF THE NEW COVENANT, and Christ gave them HIS DIVINE AGAPE, HE CAME INTO THEM, COVERS THEM WITH HIS ROBES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Dreams, visions, and all of that are NOT AT ALL what saves a person. This is very specific and very direct: IT IS THE REVELATION OF, THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST, who is DIVINE AGAPE LOVE. Jesus is the New Covenant, and the New Covenant is a SPIRITUAL covenant. You cannot enter into a COVENANT with the Lord without the Lord showing you what it is, how it works, what is means. Remember that Jesus said that God was a Spirit, and God was DIVINE LOVE. Thus we are to not only BEHOLD THE LOVE OF CHRIST, but if we will ACCEPT IT God will give it to us – that is, He bestows it to the believer – the white robes of Christ. That believer is now eternally secure in Christ for he has passed from death unto life and cannot come under condemnation.

John 5:24-29

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Notice the word “heareth.” Those that have ears to hear DO WHAT THEY ARE TOLD. Now if you have God bestow Divine Love to you, that is, He gives it to you, then you are a NEW CREATION, a NEW CREATURE, AND THAT MAKES YOU A SON OF GOD. Do you see? To be a Son of God means you have BEEN BORN AGAIN OR BORN FROM ABOVE. It also means you are an OVERCOMER, an interesting word you might want to look up.  Otherwise you remain in spiritual darkness, and are not a true Son of God, but as the Bible tells us, you are a “bastard” son, and no “bastard son or daughter” will ever enter into heaven. The multitudes of Christians who are rejected out of hand by Jesus Christ were all, in fact, BASTARD SONS AND DAUGHTERS. Look up the word “bastard’ for yourself – it means not legitimate, a fake, and it hinges upon one thing: experientially knowing the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

Once again, however, we find this esoteric and Gnostic encounter with the Lord in the word “BEHOLD” WHAT MANNER OF LOVE. All of this is denied by modern Christianity which is a fraud of the worst type.

Do we have more proof of this encounter? Yes we do and here is a key one found in the Book of Revelation Chapter 3:

Rev 3:20-22

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

This statement by the Lord is actually the key to the entire debate about the validity of the Gnostic point of view.

It is a mystery as to why people call themselves Christians and yet totally refuse the Words of the Lord. Words SO CLEARLY SPOKEN IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS that no one can miss what they mean, and yet modern Christianity has become the victim of Satanic preachers, teachers, evangelists and prophetic “scholars”, part of Satan’s angels of light, all of whom, if you go out on the web, continue in their false salvation doctrine. I guess one can either believe Jesus Christ or one can believe the fake broad way gospel – it is their choice, right?
