I don’t know the details of this case but my experience in vehicle related matters reflects very badly on the courts. They want paid, you out the door, and on to the next sucker, pardon, case. Big trucks are very important and all the more so now with ports backed up. Big money is made from -ran a stop sign- and speeding tickets. No telling what worse stunts are pulled here, but Bigger Is Better may apply. (we’re dealing with lieyers)Is not the cost for using a sand trap exorbitant? Extracting the truck can be thousands. Repairs to the ramp, then can there not be inspections and speculations, tickets and a labyrinth of bureaucracy that can have the truck stopped for weeks? If it is similar to maintenance and repair costs, I don’t know how the trucking industry survives while attempting to cannibalize itself.
