Geordie Dent from the Toronto Media Co-op goes to the Land Titles Office in Toronto to investigate the ownership of land for the Occupy Toronto SIte.

Dent discovers that some of the land on which the Occupation is currently housed belongs to St. James Cathedral. It is not clear whether the city can enforce their trespass order on land that is owned by the Church.

Food, Media, and the Sacred Fire are all on Church land according to documents found at the Land Registry Office.

By-Law #2117 covers St. James Park. Dent must still investigate the by-law to discover whether a trespass order can be issued against people camped in those areas. If one can be issued in those areas, the courts will have to decide whether city by-laws trump the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, section 2:
