Is NASA's Mission to Destroy Christianity? Let Lawrence Krauss Weigh in on This.

I will qualify this, but I would say that NASA’s mission is space exploration. NASA is mainly engineers and applied scientists who run some very unique missions and projects that are of interest to all people, BUT, and this is the qualifier, they are tied into a matrix of ideas that purport to invalidate one of the foundational principles of this nation- Christianity, whether “officially” or not, and the ACLU be damned.

The crux of the issue is one of the pentultimate assumptions underlying all cosmology (and yes, cosmology is built upon a series of outright assumptions): the Copernican Principle. The Copernican Principle states that the earth is NOT in a special or privileged place in the universe, or to paraphrase Carl Sagan, we are a pale blue dot in a vast cosmic arena. Much of astrophysical research is spent trying to validate the assumptions, including the Copernican Principle. To the dismay of many atheistic leaning cosmologists (Lawrence Krauss being a prime example), evidence is accumulating that appears to invalidate the Copernican Principle.

A key statement from Lawrence Krauss in 2006 relates to observations of an alignment between us and the universe at its largest scales (the Cosmic Microwave Background) detected by the WMAP satellite. Most scientists felt that there must be some discrepancy in the data, and expected a superior future mission, the Planck satellite to invalidate the alignment. The alignment was so destructive to their theoris, it was ironically dubbed the “axis of evil“. What Lawrence Krauss said about the IMPLICATIONS of the WMAP alignment (keeping in mind he likely expected Planck to invalidate this) was:

“…when you look at CMB map, you also see that the structure that is observed, is in fact, in a weird way, correlated with the plane of the earth around the sun. Is this Copernicus coming back to haunt us? That’s crazy. We’re looking out at the whole universe. There’s no way there should be a correlation of structure with our motion of the earth around the sun — the plane of the earth around the sun — the ecliptic. That would say we are truly the center of the universe.”

This fairly sums up the nature of the alignment, and its implications. Now 2013 rolled through, and Planck returned its findings, and lo and behold, not only did the axis remain, but in even better resolution! The universe had just changed to one more like the universe spoken of in Scriptures! Of course the Beast of the Apocalypse (interpreted as an agency of evil whose role is to destroy Christianity) needed to intervene to be sure that this news was buried, and this largely has been the case so far. I am not implying that NASA is the Beast of the Apocalypse, but all human fields iof study and endeavor can be corrupted by the beast, and NASA’s ties to atheistic philosophical cosmology may be an act of the beast.

A new documentary, The Princniple, featuring Lawrence Krauss and other top scientists (Michio Kaku, George FR Ellis, Julian Barbour, Max Tegmark, John Hartnett, etc.) explore the Copernican Principle in light of new evidence, and what they have to say is quite shocking!

The following parody sums things up quite well. The Planck CMB results are produced and released to the public. The symbol of evil, representing the Beast of the Apocalypse,  feels the results are in the bag (i.e., he has basically moved things to be sure that the Planck satellite nullifies the “axis of evil”), but his minions need to gently break him the news that in fact Planck not only verified, but increased the resolution of the axis of evil. Interesting antics follow.
