Chilling Dream about next Terrorist Attack

I dreamt I was holding up a newspaper. As the words sprang out at me, I realized in horror that what I was reading had nothing to do with journalism. It was a printed list of planned future terrorist attacks. There were not more than one or two sentences used to detail the attacks and no descriptive language was used. Instinctively I knew the person who had written this did not have more than a very basic level of education.

There was only one sentence I could see on the list as the others had been blurred from my vision. This was “April 2016 – Pope Francis to be assassinated”. I pictured the Vatican and could see Peter’s square being bombarded. Also nearby buildings had been severely damaged. The bible verse which came to mind was Revelation 13:3 (KJNV) And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marvelled and followed the beast.

I have always taken this verse to mean that one of the leaders (heads) of the world would be mortally wounded and make a miraculous recovery and not that they would physically be wounded in the head. In the dream, I knew the pope would survive the deadly attack and that people would marvel at his recovery.

The other day, I was taking some notes on the pope’s 264 page Apostolic Exhortation – Amores Laetitia (released on 8^th April). I was shocked though not all surprised (after all the same man has endorsed the theory that there is no need for us to seek a personal relationship with Jesus Christ) to see how many subtleties were incorporated in the text which is cleverly disguised as being a focus on love in the family. Although the Exhortation is littered with words like “integrity”, “tolerance” and “sustainability”, it was clearly pushing the current political and social agenda stating there is no such thing as right and wrong. It emphasized that everything is simply based on an individual’s point of view. What appears barbaric to one culture or religion is perfectly normal to another. Naturally, he did not specifically mention Islam but is probably aware of the fact that raping and behaving violently towards women is not acceptable to the Christian community at large. To appeal to the public in general, he said that paedophiles, homosexuals and divorced people should have the privilege to be embraced by “The Church” and within the confines of a normal family.

I can’t help but wonder what God would make of this deliberate tearing apart of his blessing and sacred gift to us of the traditional family. I think most probably if I were to approach him for a game of backgammon just now, he would not want to play!
