Ex-Witch Talks About Witchcraft

This is not the first I have heard of a witch turning away from the occult/witchcraft. The type of witch I am talking about is one that was practicing VooDoo rituals/magic.  So what really is a witch?

In a roundabout way this simply says that the word ‘witch’ can mean different things to different people.

When I think of the word ‘witch’ I think of a woman that practices the religion Wicca. If you asked me in high school what thoughts were brought up with the word ‘witch’ I would come up with the pointy hat, black clothes, riding a broomstick ‘witch’. The way that most media (news, internet, tv, film, movies) understands the word ‘witch’ is one who practices magic, creates spells or mixes up ingredients for spiritual uses.

There are different types of ‘witches’ and all of them “bad”.  Witchcraft is the practice that occurs within different types of religion: VooDoo, Wicca, Buddhism, Stregheria, Feri Tradition, Satanism and Luciferianism. You can’t get something from nothing. So if you are asking for power, it is not just going to be given without a price. The price you pay will be with your soul. Only with powerful prayer have people into witchcraft or other pagan religion gotten out from under the thumb of oppression.

If you have experimented with the occult and gotten in way too deep, turn to Jesus. He will get you out of any mess you have gotten yourself into. The first step is to realize we all have sinned. The second step is to realize that sin brings death. The third step is the gift of God, which is eternal life. The fourth step is to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. The fifth step is now because we have followed all of these steps, we have the promise that there is no condemnation for our sins.
