Why hasn't Gasoline prices NOT been 18 cents cheaper all Summer????
Simple answer, short article.
Several Bills have been introduced that dwell in Committee never reaching USHouse floor for Vote that would CREATED A FEDERAL GAS TAX HOLIDAY reducing the per gallon prices by 18 cents ALL SUMMER LONG. Several of the Bills are even SMART ENOUGH to provide OFFSETS in Spending to COVER THOSE LOST REVENUES to the Federal Government and keep funding things like The Highways Fund and other what-not.
BUT, all of them, STALLED IN COMMITTEE….. This SIMPLE, EASY, QUICK, solution to at least give us a pretty damn good break with 18 cents relief at the pump PER GALLON. Easy answer to the DEMAND that DC “do something” about Gas Prices (simple)!!!!
CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES (Left or Right) DEMAND SUPPORT FOR BILL AND A FLOOR VOTE IMMEDIATELY. The already STALLED past the peak driving Summer season, NO EXCUSE to not give us all some relief RIGHT NOW. And why are only Republicans talking about this??? Since it is the LEFT constantly crying the AFFORDABILITY issue(s) [that is obvious, Schumer and crew want THE ISSUE to complain about, NOT be part of any even partial SOLUTION] despite inflation way down, some real prices dropping, gas price highs, during the BiDUMB years (maybe Left is silent cuz this will REMIND FOLKS of all that before the MidTerms?!?!?).
Of course, #CommieFasciSocies-ocrats DO NOT WANT any relief by GOP prior to MidTerms and get any credit – BUT, would they DARE Vote against if it came to the House and Senate floors???? Should be 455-0 House Win and 100-0 Senate Win.
SIMPLE week to week, month to month, RELIEF at the pump given all the current CRIES ABOUT IT. No one time gimmick, but indeed a “short time” (say 6 months) planned Economic relief – WHICH TRICKLES DOWN in all products shipped by Truck anywhere either able to also come down a bit OR AT LEAST not have to go up (not as sexy, not as visible, but STILL a relief – lowering Gas Prices, preventing some other inflated prices hitting our tight budgets). THIS is how REAL ECONOMIC IMPACTS can be made IN SHORT ORDER!
