Why hasn't Gasoline prices NOT been 18 cents cheaper all Summer????

Tuesday, September 15, 2026 16:39

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Simple answer, short article.

Several Bills have been introduced that dwell in Committee never reaching USHouse floor for Vote that would CREATED A FEDERAL GAS TAX HOLIDAY reducing the per gallon prices by 18 cents ALL SUMMER LONG. Several of the Bills are even SMART ENOUGH to provide OFFSETS in Spending to COVER THOSE LOST REVENUES to the Federal Government and keep funding things like The Highways Fund and other what-not.

BUT, all of them, STALLED IN COMMITTEE….. This SIMPLE, EASY, QUICK, solution to at least give us a pretty damn good break with 18 cents relief at the pump PER GALLON. Easy answer to the DEMAND that DC “do something” about Gas Prices (simple)!!!!

CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES (Left or Right) DEMAND SUPPORT FOR BILL AND A FLOOR VOTE IMMEDIATELY. The already STALLED past the peak driving Summer season, NO EXCUSE to not give us all some relief RIGHT NOW. And why are only Republicans talking about this??? Since it is the LEFT constantly crying the AFFORDABILITY issue(s) [that is obvious, Schumer and crew want THE ISSUE to complain about, NOT be part of any even partial SOLUTION] despite inflation way down, some real prices dropping, gas price highs, during the BiDUMB years (maybe Left is silent cuz this will REMIND FOLKS of all that before the MidTerms?!?!?).

DID I SAY lowering the prices by just 18 cents would be enough? FUCK NO, did not say that, so you LEFTARDS can just STOP LYING and creating your STRAWMAN bullshit. This would at least be SOMETHING they can do, can do RIGHT NOW, could have and should have DONE ALREADY MONTHS AGO!!!! And how about THE BLUE STATES with double, triple, some MORE than even that, DO THE SAME?!?!?!? to provide at least SOME RELIEF to the Public. I thought you LEFTARDS all of a sudden (though you were silent about all during BiDUMB) care about AFFORDABILITY issues – PUT UP, OR SHUT UP and GTFO of the way!!!!

<br /> SIMPLE week to week, month to month, RELIEF at the pump given all the current CRIES ABOUT IT. No one time gimmick, but indeed a “short time” (say 6 months) planned Economic relief – WHICH TRICKLES DOWN in all products shipped by Truck anywhere either able to also come down a bit OR AT LEAST not have to go up (not as sexy, not as visible, but STILL a relief – lowering Gas Prices, preventing some other inflated prices hitting our tight budgets). THIS is how REAL ECONOMIC IMPACTS can be made IN SHORT ORDER!

OK, HOLD-UP:
FRIDAY OCTOBER 2nd 2026 UPDATE:
I want to REVISE AND EXTEND MY REMARKS….
I want A NEW BILL or the one out there now AMENDED – I want the $0.18 FEDERAL GAS TAX SUSPENSION RELIEF to be contingent on, only applies and goes into effect, FOR/IN STATES that ALSO AGREE (have, 30 days to enact; if you fail to act within that timeframe OFFER EXPIRES) their OWN matching minimum $0.18/Gal Gas Tax SUSPENSION!!! And the Federal Relief only valid and applies WHEN and WHILE the same MATCH is in effect in any given State!!!! And the suspension takes place for 90 days, with PRESIDENTIAL OPTION to extend (ONE TIME) for another 90 days!

So, basically, YOU BLUE STATE RETARDS, can get your Citizens relief OR you can keep playing Political Games! CHOOSE! But your people ONLY GET THE FEDERAL RELIEF if you too step-up to provide relief. We KNOW the RED STATES will leap at this chance, and BLUE STATES will fuck around. BUT this is needed RIGHT NOW, as we draw near the 30 days til #MidTerms2026.
