I would’nt believe anything Zahi Hawass says. He is/was a narcissistic autocrat where everything had to be about him. His Egypt, his monuments and his discoveries. Even to the extent of plagarising other peoples research. He held up all research in Egypt for decades. And even tried to stop research elsewhere, eg the Bosnian pyramid complex, to protect his stranglehold on archaeology.
Zahi Hawass’ job was to hide the truth: that the sphinx and pyramids were not built by the Egyptians. They are likely 10-12 thousand years old based on several dating methods.
Hawass is the self-appointed Egyptian “expert”. Why anyone would allow this pompous j@ck@$$ to comment and expound upon mysteries such as this, much less interject his plagiarized data, is beyond comprehension! In my own studies, I have seen that this goof has had to be consulted on all digs, and all public information must be filtered through him—–this equals bad science as his personal belief’s are no more (or less) valid than anyone else’s. Time for a new “expert” for sure.
