Bigger Screen For The iPhone 5, Good Or Bad? [MakeUseOf Poll]

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Last week’s poll was all about your computers’ age. We asked you to tell us how old your current computer is, and we got some interesting results. Before you read on, what do YOU think was the most popular answer? You might be surprised!

Out of 1,158 votes in total, the breakdown was as follows: 32% have 5 years old or older computer, 30% have a 3-4 years old computer, 21% have a 1-2 years old computer, 11% have a computer that’s less than a year old, and 6% just got a brand new computer.

Full results and this week’s poll after the jump.

Surprised? So were we! Although we do guess that most of the older computers are desktops, and your elaborate and useful comments seem to support this.

Don’t forget to check out jamesbirtwistle’s comment, which awarded him 150 points!

This week’s poll question is: Bigger Screen For The iPhone 5, Good Or Bad?

Want to make some extra MakeUseOf reward points? The most useful comment on the poll will be awarded 150 points!

iPhone 5 rumors are slowly but surely getting out of hand. With a launch date sometime around September (or so we think), a new detail about the iPhone 5 is published almost every day. With Apple being Apple, no one knows anything for sure, but an insistent rumor, started on 9to5mac, tells us the new iPhone might finally get a bigger display. With other devices slowly getting bigger and bigger, the iPhone has been stuck with its 3.5 inch screen ever since its launch. While Apple maintained that this is the perfect size for a smartphone, they might be making the iPhone 5 bigger, or maybe just longer. What do YOU think about it?

Share in the comments why you think a bigger screen is a good or bad idea. Will it change your mind about buying the iPhone 5?
