Sony NSZ-GS7 update brings a host of goodies for Google TV
There are a sudden plethora of Google TV Updates this week. First it was the Vizio Co-Star upgrade, then the Sony NSZ-GS7 Internet Player. Both of these focus mainly on the features from the failed 2012 Google TV revamp, such as PrimeTime and the updated YouTube app. Viewers who are longing to enjoy the Amazon VOD access can also grab its app via the Google Play.
Sony claims to have an edge over Vizio on account of the support it provides for the equally new voice search feature: owners can chat with Sony’s remote to understand how to get things done and do not have to use a phone or depend on the tablet. Whichever route they decide to take however owners of the GS7 owners will need to keep an eye open in the days ahead for the software update that will rejuvenate their set-top boxes.
