Check out The Amazing Spiderman on the BlackBerry Q10!

Usually we don’t rant on a regular basis, but every now and then we notice coolness and like to share with everyone else.  One huge complaint on the BlackBerry Q10 is gaming – says who? The aspect ratios just don’t seem to fit very well like the BlackBerry Z10, which of course limits what kind of games can be launched.  After making the switch (maybe temporary depending how this goes) to the BlackBerry Q10 earlier, I noticed that Gameloft had released a version of The Amazing Spiderman for it as well.  We had previously let you know when it was made available for BlackBerry 10 a couple months back, but it was never visited on the Q before. Obviously I had to try it out – especially since I made the purchase on the Z already!

I must say, the game works just as great as it did on the Z10, of course just on a smaller screen.  To be quite honest, I think I enjoy this game more on the Q than on the Z.  Maybe it’s because the device sits nicer in the hand with portrait mode and I don’t have to worry about rotation.  I thought the keyboard would get in my way, but it doesn’t at all, unless of course I’m charging the device.  Any way, here’s some screenshots from the game you can check out just to see how nice the aspect ratios are.

I strongly believe it should be a good initiative to share great applications and games on the BlackBerry Q10.  With the bashing of missing games on it, this should very well exemplify how perfect gaming can be on it.  Also, an inspiration for developers to keep bring their apps/games not only to the Z10 but the Q10 as well!
