Updated: BBM Beta for iOS and Android is not official from BlackBerry
UPDATE: Definitely seems to be a fake so far, the download file is password protected and must be downloaded through an unknown URL. Calling this one fake! Also, check out the site on whois.com. We do not recommend attempting to download this one, as who knows what it may contain. Berry users beware!
It looks like BlackBerry has their site up – BBMBeta.com which allows you to download a zip file for the apk and ipa files which you can use to sideload on your other devices. It is a bit strange seeing this since there was no official announcement to our knowledge, but let us know of your findings if you decide to download. The package is right on the root site, which is what caused the confusion. We were definitely expecting to see some terms and conditions to accept or a portal through Beta Zone, but this seems to be on its own site. Any way, you guys be the judge of it and let us know!
