Netflix app now available on preloaded Amazon Appstore for BlackBerry 10.3
The title says it all – the official Netflix app is available now in the preloaded Amazon Appstore on BlackBerry 10.3. For those out of the loop, there have been a number of big name applications which appear to be available in the native Amazon Appstore, but have been filtered out on the preloaded Amazon Appstore on the BlackBerry Passport – including Netflix. The speculated reasoning is that some of those apps have not yet been “optimized” for BlackBerry 10, or so Amazon support says when you contact them. Hopefully over time we’ll see more of these applications get white listed for BlackBerry users.
Back to the the Netflix app – there’s no word when this started showing up on Amazon, but I had just come across it when checking out today’s free app of the day
