AT&T splash screen on my BlackBerry Passport finally fits the whole screen (it’s coming!)

Alright this was clearly not blog entry worthy, but I have been quite annoyed by the AT&T splash screen since day one on the BlackBerry Passport.  It was never filling the screen and there was this black border around it.  Basically AT&T just didn’t have a splash screen pushed out with a resolution big enough to fit the 1440 x 1440 display.  Of course I’m sure you’ve already read that the BlackBerry Passport for AT&T has already passed FCC today, so everything comes together as we get closer to a hopeful successful US launch of the device.  One more side note, AT&T’s smartphones section appears to be under construction – but my wishful thinking suggests a lot of BlackBerry Passport-age to be added hopefully, let’s not forget the BlackBerry Classic too.  I’m not sure how many else of you have been annoyed by the splash screen as I may be the only one who cared

And yes, the image above is the AT&T splash screen.  I’m a happy camper again.
