Trichomycterus punctulatus
(Adriaens, Baskin and Coppens 2010; Valenciennes 1846 in Cuvier and Valencinnes 1846, 5–15cm long) is an extant South American freshwater catfish with no common name. Here and elsewhere it nests with the much smaller Vandellia.
