We’ve all heard the news about pink slime, salmonella, food deserts, and food recalls.
Are things getting worse, or is this how it has always been?
I recently came across an interesting chart which shows the major, multi-state food contamination epidemics from 1993 – 2008. The chart was created by Dr. Phillip H. Howard who is an expert in the Amercian food system (I’ll be posting more about Dr. Howard in future emails as he has hard data on the corruption of organics in this country and why food epidemics are likely to increase – so watch your inbox).
