I concur with the statement. Moreover in the Scriptures, lessons on multiple perspective are virtually too numerous to list. There are three synoptic Gospels rather than a single telling. But any apparent discrepancies must be resolved in order to attain right-understanding.

I see. I should have been more careful with my particulars. When I say ‘Scripture’ I intend the written Word of God, which I contend is found written in the Manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments – and to a lesser degree in the translations of those Manuscripts. There is nothing found anywhere within that original) body of which is provably untrue or demonstrably false. The same cannot be said about the Koran, which contradicts itself throughout. All apparent contradictions in Scripture are resolvable. Contradictions in the Koran are insurmountable.

In the very Surah you quote (4:157), we see the entire Biblical Narrative of Salvation denied. If the Biblical Messiah did not die, then the Biblical notion of salvation for all men is rendered moot. If the Messiah did not die, then Scripture is a lie.

Wiz, that is a statement only one who is ignorant of the Talmud could ever make. Like the Koran, the Talmuds (the Jerusalem and the Babylonian) both deny the LIGHT – that Light begotten on the very First Day in the opening sequence of Genesis chapter one. And God said: ‘Let Light Be.’

Yeshu is an acronym for – ‘May his name be blotted out.’ You will find the Messiah referred to by that name in no other source. His Name was Yehoshua – shortened form being Y’shua. His name was not Yeshu.

This accounting is wildly at odds with the Biblical accounting. Note also the 40 days are reminiscent of the religions of Babylon – (and later Rome) – and are not in accord with the narrative given to us in the written Word.

These Jewish traditions hail from the imaginations of men. Nothing of the kind is found written in the pages of the Torah – the first five Books of the Old Testament – which the Jews pretend to adhere to and obey, but do not.

Really? If that lesson ends, Christianity ends with it. I don’t agree with your assessment.

Who cares what believers are told? God tells believers what to believe in the Word. And as I mentioned earlier, all apparent contradictions in His Word are resolvable through study and careful attention to detail. Not a few of the contradictions are resolved merely by examining the particular verses in the original languages – which modern conveniences like lexicons, concordances, interlinears and word study programs all make not only possible but rather easy.

For the same reason that all non-believers do not believe. The Jews were given a choice. Now choice is reducible in all cases to TWO choices: We choose either the Tree of Life or the Tree of Death. Pilate brought before them Barabbas (which, being interpreted, means ‘son of the father’) and Yehoshua of Nazareth (being Himself THE Son of The Father). The Jews chose Barabbas. And what did they say? ‘Let this Man’s blood be upon our heads and the heads of our children.’

Wiz, an ALMAH (maiden) cannot be an ALMAH unless she is ALSO a BETULAH (virgin). If the maiden ceases to be a virgin, the maiden has become one of only two things: either a wife, or a whore. Again – an almah cannot be an almah unless she is ALSO a betulah. Thus we see that Christian theologians have no bearing whatsoever on the matter. None. Zero.

Christianity claims that Isaiah chapter 53 refers to Jesus, as the “suffering servant.”

In actuality, Isaiah 53 directly follows the theme of chapter 52, describing the exile and redemption of the Jewish people. The prophecies are written in the singular form because the Jews (“Israel”) are regarded as one unit. The Torah is filled with examples of the Jewish nation referred to with a singular pronoun.”

Isaiah chapter 53 describes an accounting of a single man. That is the simple reading of the text. And without perverting the intended meaning of the Scriptures, that is the only rendering we will perceive. In this instance, like in so many others, we either take the Scriptures at their word, or we follow the vain traditions of men. Listen to the rabbis if you like. As for me, I will believe what is written in the Word of God. Isaiah chapter 53 speaks of A Man.

What makes more sense? That man should tell God how He should conduct His affairs? Or that we should hear and believe God once He has spoken – and not only spoken, but in this instance given us very specific reasons for why He has done what He has done. And for the record, there are not 15 thousand religions in human history. There are not even fifteen. There is ONE religion. All specific aspects of that one religion (which we may misconstrue as various unique systems) are but tentacles of a single, nebulous entity. The specific nature of this entity is reducible in all instances to sun worship. That is the currency of the enemy and the nourishment by which his system functions and thrives. What is described for us throughout the pages of Scripture is not religion. It is the opposite of religion. Religion has man climbing up a ladder along his path of ‘spiritual evolution.’ The Word of God tells us we do not climb; rather we cross over. We cross the Jordan. We go THROUGH The Door. Anyone who climbs up some other way is a thief, laboring to steal from God what He has already promised to give.

“But personal revelation is an extremely weak basis for a religion because one can never know if it is indeed true. Since others did not hear God speak to this person, they have to take his word for it. Even if the individual claiming personal revelation performs miracles, there is still no verification that he is a genuine prophet. Miracles do not prove anything. You’re setting yourself up for certain confusion by failing to recognize the hallmark of the authentic: The authentic is, in all cases, verifiable. We need not have seen it with our own eyes to believe it. God has made Himself testable – He not only allows us to test Him, but He demands that we do so. He tells us to PROVE EVERYTHING. He tells us that all things are to be confirmed via witnesses. You’re talking about blind faith. God talks about true faith – and true faith is the very OPPOSITE of blindness. True faith rests on experience, on knowledge, and on understanding.

First of all, there was no such thing as ‘Jewish’ loyalty when Deuteronomy was written. There was Israelite loyalty. There was Hebrew obedience. But it is true – God does permit our adversaries to attain many advantages over us. But He also teaches us the ways by which we are to overcome those advantages, which, if we are obedient to His Word, are no advantages at all.

You must be new here, so I’ll bring you up to speed. If you can provide a single source upon which it may be said fairly and conclusively that any part of the New Testament borrowed from or plagiarized, I will pay you Ten Thousand dollars (US) in cash or gold. That very offer has been on the table here at this website for over seven years now. All anyone has to do is provide the documentation of verifiable evidence PRE-DATING New Testament Scripture, which reflects similarities of the kind you claim. You are beating a dead horse, friend. Nothing of the kind exists. All similarities external to the Scriptures are NEWER than the Scriptures. Not? Then bring your evidence. Older than the Gospels, Wiz… or don’t waste your time. Or mine.

But what I offer is a patient examination of any areas of Scripture you feel are flawed, weak, contradictory or worthy to be rejected. I’ve been doing this for many years now. I’ve become somewhat familiar with the Truth. As such, Truth is easy to defend because I don’t have to do the defending. All I have to do is answer the objections. And I will answer any objections you care to raise, as touching the written Word of God – the Book of Genesis through the Book of Revelation.

Regardless; it has been shown that the material you’ve put forth so far has no bearing on the word of God which stands alone and defines itself. There is no need to look outside Scripture in order to understand it. One only needs to be drawn to Truth and a willingness to accept nothing less.

Let’s keep it simple and narrow things down to a topic. You raised the Virgin Birth, and you tabled your objection. Have you considered what was submitted to you in response? I would very much like to hear your thoughts on the subject, as the concept of virginity cannot rightly be separated from the (Hebrew) concept of maidenhood. How say you?

When we listen to Bezos, to Musk, to Cook, to Kurzweil… they all have us on more-or-less the same projected trajectory. Artificial Intelligence needs to blossom into whatever (nefarious) ultimate form it will assume, coupled with Quantum Computing, blended with transhumanism/bio genetic engineering = the rise of The Deceiver. According to Scripture, The Deceiver will be a ‘god.’ But it will be a ‘god’ that men have built with their own hands. The way I see it, that happens no sooner than 2030.

We all choose who we will believe. Either we believe the Almighty, who has spoken clearly and authoritatively; or we believe men, who are teaching something else.

The thing is, Wiz, we’ve heard these arguments time and again. Nothing new under the sun (Ecc 1:9) and all that. Neither is your rejoinder anything new. Typically you soldier on, asking questions, all the while ignoring pertinent points that shoot holes all through your opening gambit.

To recap; the Talmud and Koran are no authority and your first three supposedly problematic Bible passages have been shown to be no problem at all.

Indeed Truth must withstand all scrutiny for our very freedom (John 8:32) depends on it. Your apology, for tardiness, speaks volumes about your moral fiber and should you continue in these debates you will be confronted with the sort of truth that fits the bill.

Regarding your questions, Wiz, suffice to say that my opinion aligns with that of Beef Supreme. The Bible does not teach a pre-trib rapture and just as the faithful Son was raised to immortality on the third day so too shall the faithful sons with one prophetic day (2Pet 3:8) equating to 1000 years. In short i look toward Messiah’s return 2,000 years after He was crucified.

I could be wrong, its happened before, but like you i think the opening of the 6th seal will be an unmistakable event. Arguably the most quantifiable objective sign, in line with ancient prophecy (Joel 2:10), of the coming great and dreadful day of the Lord. We wait and prepare and watch.
