Just be you. All in.
So, I’m back!
But not in the same way.
Wow what a journey it’s been.
Disconnecting for 21 Days of my own VividLife Quest program I really saw its value and my own.
I read a lot, meditated a lot, connected with the people who lift me up and got really focused on who I am, what my intent is and how I want to deliver that going forward.
No longer in a way where I am unconsciously being pulled around by conditioning and distractions, but in a way where my heart and soul are once again the leaders.
Stepping away from all the noise really showed me that even someone like me, who is somewhat of a rebel, still has such deep rooted conditioning and consistent resistance to living the life I want, as opposed to the one that I’ve been conditioned to live.
Many realizations were had while I was away. Some of them inspired by reading, some by conversations, but most were realized through real in person connections and documentaries based on others stories. At this point two stick out: The Kindness Diaries & Be Here Now on Netflix.
Both we’re profound stories on the deeper meaning of life, death and everything in between.
And what they mirrored to me, what everything in the last 21 days has mirrored to me, is how important my work is.
How important that I keep questioning, keep reflecting and keep sharing.
I am a student of this life. In all its peaks and valleys.
I am not the guru, nor will I ever be.
What I am is right here with you holding your hand, looking in your eyes and reminding you of everything you need to know to access that place within you that holds the truth, your truth.
And sometimes I’ll need that reminder too.
There is such power in self inquiry, meditation, connecting with others and sharing our stories.
We realize that no matter our points of difference that in our heart of hearts we are so very similar.
So let this be a reminder to share yours.
There is so much power in sharing.
Not just in the courage it takes to be vulnerable enough to be seen, but also in the permission it gives others to do the same.
A ripple effect of truth and awareness.
That’s where life is. Right there.
It’s so alive. So free. So fluid.
That’s success, real success.
Not numbers on a piece of paper, or cars in a drive way, but a real understanding of yourself and the confidence to share that with the world.
Whether a baker or a barber, an artist or writer, a student or a teacher, a recovering addict or a psychotherapist
Just be you. All in.
Whatever that looks like.
Right here. Right Now!
