John 6

53 Then Jesus said unto them, — Verily, verily, I say unto you, ===

Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you

Jesus Christ clearly states – if you have NOT and if you DO NOT— eat His flesh and drink His blood then there is no “life’ in you.

Do you “symbolically” eat the flesh and drink the blood of our PASSOVER year by year and only on the night of the 14^th of Nisan as instituted by our Master Jesus Christ?

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ –“’our Passover””– is sacrificed for us:

Please take careful note— Christ is NOT our “easter” and Passover is NOT Jewish, Jesus Christ knew before creation He must be offered as our Passover. There were no Jews until Jacob’s son Judah was born.

It is GODS’ Passover.

In John 6 Jesus Christ explains why those — drawn to HIM “BY” the FATHER must eat the unleavened bread and drink the wine which symbolizes the flesh and blood of our Passover, the Lamb of God.

John 6

44 No man –can come to me, — “except” –the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up —- at the “last day”.

Christ is explaining unless the Father individually ‘draws’ i.e. Drags a person to Christ – that person — cannot — come to Christ!

Unless it is God the Father that drags you to Christ — Christ states no man can come to HIM.

When the “misguided” ask if you have “found Christ” or if you have taken Christ “into your heart” – remember it is NOT up to you to “find” Christ, many are called and few chosen BY THE FATHER — it is the Father ONLY that puts those HE Calls into the body of Christ..

Oh you can find a nice comfy “church” and join one of the 40,000 kinds of “Christian” churches but that does not at all place you in the very Body of Jesus Christ and does not at all give you Life!

It IS the Father who “drags” you in and places you in His ONE Ecclesia – as –by your own efforts – YOU- can never find the Father’s One Ecclesia. You can never Place yourself in the BODY. The Father must place those HE CALLS in that ONE Body,

How long would it take to research 40,000 churches? And by what criteria would or could you chose that ONE true Church?

If a person on their own determines they will seek salvation by your own efforts; they are then in the position being able to stand before the Father and demand salvation “I chose “on my own” to seek Christ “— – ‘I found Him and have taken Him into “my heart” – all by my self — God now you owe me eternal life”.

Verse 44 states that will never happen. “No man can come to –ME —EXCEPT — the Father draws/drags him.”

The timing of your calling is totally in the hands of God the Father! NOT YOU, you can not Call your own self to Christ.

Now once you are called and chosen i.e. “dragged” to Christ: and even after repentance, baptism and receiving the Father’s Spirit by the laying on of hands — IF you do not eat the flesh and drink the Blood, symbolically, of our Passover Jesus Christ — THEN there is —Still— NO life in you.

Belief, without the actions proving that belief, — IS – – “Faith without WORKS” —- both “legs” are required to stand before the Son of God.

If you — “believe” –Jesus Christ died to pay your debt to sin – then and only then you can be given the free gift of eternal life:

BUT—as verse 50 and 51 below states— we must also eat that “BREAD”:

Faith Plus Works are required for salvation i.e. eternal life..

48 I am “”that”” bread of life.

49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven:

if any man eat of “this bread”, he shall live for ever:

and the bread that I will give is my flesh,

which I will give for the life of the world.

When Christ told His disciples He desired to eat “THIS” Passover with them Christ spoke of “This bread”, — Jesus Christ is the Bread, is the “Passover” we must eat.

15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat -= “this Passover” — with you before I suffer:

“”Our Passover”” — “This Passover” –- “This bread”,

I have wondered for year why John called it — “The Jew’s Passover” ?   Wasn’t John a Jew?

55   And the Jews’ Passover   was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.

Now I understand:

John, for decades after Christ rose from death, no longer observed the “physical” Passover on the night of the 15^th by eating a physical lamb which the Jews’ still keep today but without the Lamb as there is no temple.

On the night of the 14^th, erroneously called “The LORD’s Supper”, Christ instituted the New Covenant “Spiritual Passover” thus John was showing there is a difference between the two when he called it the Jew’s Passover.

There is the Passover of the Old Covenant and there is the Passover of the New Covenant which John and all the Saints of God had been observing since the Church began at Pentecost.

Now in our day those few that follow the example set by Jesus Christ no longer eat a physical lamb on the night of the 15^th.

New Covenant Christians now, today, following the example set by Jesus Christ –Our Passover” — symbolically eat the “flesh” and drink the “blood” of our Spiritual Passover Jesus Christ on the night of the 14th.

New Covenant Christians have “life” in them as their belief is made perfect by works when they keep the New Covenant Spiritual Passover on the night of the 14^th of Nisan,
