Self-mastery and The Phoenix Journals

The road to self-mastery is one of chastity. We go from unconscious creation in the reproductive center of sexual expression to conscious creation through the throat center which governs not only the mouth but also the hands. When we have gone a ways in that reversal of energetic flow we can turn our attention to controlling the emotional side of our being and to our thoughts, for as Hatonn says: “for thoughts ARE CREATION!” (Phoenix Journal 102), for thoughts and Thought are the beginning of something coming into being or into manifestation.

Jesus demonstrated for us, with His Cross, the ultimate in self-mastery. Under pressure, people are tested. Before he was hung on the cross, Jesus had his arms dislocated and the nails were driven-in at a slant from the palm of his hands into his wrists. Everything, he said, that made his end more painful. (Jesus crucified). He was terrified (again a crucifixion).

Mary’s words:

“How He suffered, no one will ever know, because what I witnessed could never be put down on paper, so vile were the cruelties inflicted upon His Divine Body. This is why so little description is given of the degrading insults they inflicted on Him, because it would be so shocking that it would defile His Holy Name by writing it down.” (cruel crucifixion).

A Silent Crucifixion

“While they are tearing my Son’s Church down, brick by brick, my Son’s remnant will be forced to flee it. Every argument, every gesture and every defense, which those who remain loyal to my Son’s Church present, will be dismissed. This will be a silent Crucifixion, just like that which my Son endured when He suffered with little more than a whimper. The voices of those who will continue to proclaim the Truth will receive no media coverage. No attention. Even if they do manage to make their voices heard, they will be demonized for doing so. (Church crucified).

This sort of response to cruel treatment is very unusual. While the culprits were noisy trying to instill fear into the watching masses, Jesus went through His Crucifixion almost silent, “with as much grace as possible” (an approximate quote), as He has said, so as not to instill fear and dread into His followers. So we can see who wields the fear which catches hold.. Jesus was on a different level…connected to the spirit, and “not to the things of this world”, as Mary says so often in Her Brazilian messages.

So, do we spread fear, or do we spread a quiet acceptance of whatever comes to us, as individuals and as a collective, no matter how painful the event may be for us to deal with? Jesus, with tremendous effort, demonstrated His self-mastery to us, one which nullifies the effects of sin. Will we in the coming painful events, for us, act with consciousness – from the throat center – or will we react violently with emotion out of the reproductive center? Where we place the center of our being is up to us. Our Decisions determine where and how our creative energy or life-force  manifests itself: It being part of The Creation itself.
