Jesus - 'Oh, child of God, wake up to the lateness of the hour'. given September 7th 2020

The ABC of the spiritual life, where we are cognisant that all life is a part of us, is the restraint of the outward going nature. Lust – the first sin – has to be curbed to allow the Holy Spirit or the life-force (Jesus equates the two) to build up within us to even allow us to see spiritually, wholly and not partially. The separated self is always divided against itself, hence we have wars, disputes, judgment and criticism, whereas the reunited self – the real meaning of ‘yoga’, to yoke or to join together – sees wholly, hence there are no wars, disputes or harm, because the self is no longer divided.

Jesus

Words are hollow when there is no hope. Is there a right, is there a wrong; is there a middle ground of safety? I look, but do I see? I hear but do I understand?

‘There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. (Proverbs 30:12)’

Have we become that generation?

As 2020 draws to a close, the powers of darkness revel in their plans for dominance, destruction and disobedience. Sanity steps aside giving a clear path for anger, anarchy and the spirit of antichrist to roam freely across the nation.

Oh, child of God, wake up to the lateness of the hour. See, hear and understand.

‘Stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all the things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36). For anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. (Ephesians 5:14) ‘Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. (Romans 13:11)’ Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.(1 Corinthians 16:13)’ ..For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. (Romans 13:11)’ Awake, awake, oh child of God. Awake!!
