Yoga for Golfers Founder Katherine Roberts to Bring Revolutionary Training Program to Golfer’s Grail

Yoga for Golfers (YFG) Founder and President, and Nike Swoosh Elite athlete Katherine Roberts is hosting a Yoga for Golfers workshop at Golfer’s Grail in Tampa on Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., followed by a social from 7 – 8 p.m. The 90-minute interactive workshop is $39.99 per person and open to all golfers, yoga instructors, PGA professionals and fitness instructors.

As part of the Yoga for Golfers workshop, Roberts will instruct participants on her mind-body approach to golf fitness and highlight the correlations and benefits of yoga as it applies to golf performance.

“We are excited to host the Yoga for Golfers workshop,” said Golfer’s Grail Owner Jeff Sproat. “This program truly brings an innovative approach to golfers looking to improve their swing.”

Roberts’ revolutionary program will provide participants with a unique opportunity to receive personal training and instruction in Tampa, YFG’s first certification program in the Southeast. In addition to providing business expansion opportunities and potential revenue streams for participants, attendees will also receive four of Katherine’s online instructional videos, which are values at $60.

While no prior golf experience is required, YFG workshop will provide an overview of the basic mechanics of the golf swing and how Yoga for Golf can improve performance on the course.

Katherine Roberts is a 20-year veteran in fitness training and yoga studies and is a golf bio mechanical specialist. With Yoga for Golfers, she has developed a unique approach to golf conditioning, combining western bio mechanical research and eastern mind-body conditioning to enhance performance. As the number one yoga and golf fitness expert worldwide, Roberts also serves as a yoga fitness instructor for MLB teams. In addition, Katherine is a Golf Magazine fitness panel expert and the Director of Teacher Training for Peak Performance Yoga.
