Bears TE Colston Loveland facing backlash over Packers comments
Colston Loveland has added fuel to the fire surrounding the age-old rivalry between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. The 22-year-old tight end is entering just his second season with the Bears, but there is no denying that the bitter rivalry already runs deep in his system.
Loveland recently addressed the Bears-Packers rivalry on an appearance on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast. He compared it to the intense rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State, which he experienced during his time with the Wolverines.
“As far as like in the building, (there are signs that read) ‘What are you doing to beat Ohio State every day?’ That was where it was in Michigan,” he said. “Every TV, everything.
“That’s how it is. At the Bears, it’s everyone’s only talking about the Packers. Owners … It’s just, you can’t go a day without talking about them, talk about beating them, talk about the bad things. So it’s very comparable.”

Fans react to Colston Loveland’s comments on Bears-Packers rivalry
Loveland’s comments caused quite a stir on social media. While some fans supported the Bears star, others took the opportunity to roast his team and its fans.
“Is this not sad bro 
rent free man. A decade of straight belt done some damage on them boys,” a reaction on X read.
“It was all good when many GB starters were out for the year. They return this year though and about to put belt to associate little brother,” another said.

“This is insane glazing dude I can’t imagine my players having that kind of mentality,” a viewer declared.
Loveland and the Bears are now facing some backlash, mostly from Packers supporters. What is abundantly clear is that the rivalry is very much alive.
These two teams will face off twice in the upcoming season. The Bears will head to Lambeau Field on Oct. 11, while hosting the Packers in a rematch on Christmas Day.
