Fever: Caitlin Clark singles out one All-Star she’d like to play with
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark made quite an impact in Saturday’s 2026 WNBA All-Star Game. The former Rookie of the Year caught fire early on, hitting three long-range triples in the first quarter. Clark finished with 17 points on 6-of-17 shooting, five threes, four rebounds, five assists and a steal in 21 minutes of action. She helped lead Team Spoon to a 129-122 victory over Team Coop.
It was New York Liberty center Jonquel Jones who stole the show, though. Jones, an All-Star for a sixth time, led the charge for Team Spoon. She was named the All-Star Game MVP after going off for 22 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists and four threes in 22 minutes off the bench.

Incidentally, Clark singled Jones out before the game. When asked to name one specific All-Star who she wants to play with, Clark made her feelings clear.
“I think JJ,” Clark said. “JJ’s incredible. And she’s just a good soul, like she’s a good person. She’s very down-to-earth. She’s funny, she’s kind, so I’d probably pick her.”

It was Clark and Jones who spearheaded Team Spoon’s win on Saturday. Clark got the opportunity to play alongside the 32-year-old veteran, and it resulted in a victory for their squad.
For what it’s worth, Jones is still under contract with the Liberty through the 2028 season. She signed a three-year, $3.7 million extension during the offseason, making her one of the highest-paid players in the league.
