Fever star Caitlin Clark’s message for boyfriend Connor McCaffery draws attention
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has been dating her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery for over three years now.
The couple started their romance in April 2023, while they were still both at Iowa. Clark was with the women’s team, while McCaffery suited up for the men’s basketball team. The couple went Instagram official on August 2023, announcing their relationship to the public. Clark posted a photo of themselves together on a boat, confirming that they were officially a couple.
It has been quite a ride for Clark from her time with the Hawkeyes to now that she’s established herself as one of the top players in the WNBA. Through it all, McCaffery has stood by her side.

Clark has been equally supportive of her man. Following his stint with Iowa, McCaffery took on a job as an assistant coach for Butler University. In June this year, he left Butler to become a development coach for the Indiana Pacers’ NBA G League team, Noblesville Boom. This is McCaffery’s second stint with the Pacers organization after previously holding the position of basketball development coordinator and team assistant for their NBA squad.
McCaffery marked a personal milestone on Monday. He celebrated his 28th birthday, which prompted a heartfelt message from Clark on Instagram.

Clark and the Fever are off on Monday and Tuesday, giving her time to celebrate McCaffery’s birthday. Indiana’s next game is a home matchup against the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday.
