Angel Reese sends personal message to Atlanta Dream teammate
Angel Reese is currently in Berlin, competing in the FIBA World Cup with Team USA. However, she still took time to send a personal message to her Atlanta Dream teammate, DeWanna Bonner.
The 39-year-old joined the team on Aug. 27, just three days after she and the Phoenix Mecury agreed to a buyout. She is chasing her third WNBA championship in what could be her finals season as a pro. Bonner debuted for Atlanta on Aug. 30, recording seven points, four rebounds and two assists in the 89-81 win over the Minnesota Lynx.

Bonner posted a carousel of photos and videos of herself, and Reese dropped a two-word reaction in the comments section. The veteran forward wore a sleeveless yellow knit mini dress featuring a high neckline and a fringed hemline along the bottom. She paired it with gold open-toe ankle-strap high-heeled sandals.

The comment showed the chemistry the new teammates have already built. They will play key roles for the Dream as they look to secure a top-three seed. Atlanta is currently fourth in the standings with four games remaining. It has the same record as the Indiana Fever but own the tiebreaker. Both teams are trailing the Las Vegas Aces by one game.
Reese will learn from Bonner’s experience and basketball IQ, helping her take her game to the next level. The Dream will return to action on Thursday against the Connecticut Sun. It will be played at Gateway Center Arena, just four days after Team USA faces France in the World Cup gold medal game.
Another home game follows versus the Chicago Sky at State Farm Arena. Atlanta’s last two matchups are against the New York Liberty at Barclays Center. The team is already secured of a playoff spot but continues to compete for a higher seed.
