Caitlin Clark’s one-word response to Chiefs coach Andy Reid
Caitlin Clark and Nike are all set for the release of her first signature shoes on Oct. 1. Clark debuted the Sea of Red Nike Caitlin 1s on Sunday. It features the Chiefs’ colors, with a crimson red upper and a yellow swoosh. She wore them during Indiana’s clash with the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The three-time All-Star recorded a game-high 25 points, along with two rebounds and five assists. However, she struggled from the field, converting just 6-of-20 shots and failed to lead the team to victory. The 93-77 loss also snapped its three-game winning streak.
The good news for Fever fans is their team bounced back with a 96-77 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday. Clark once again led the charge with 27 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. She also shot 50% from the field.

The Chiefs posted a video of Reid holding his Sea of Red Caitlin 1s gifted by Clark. He thanked her for it and also expressed his support for all WNBA players.
“I got my new Sea of Red, Caitlin 1s right here, specially from Caitlin Clark, man,” Reid said. “God, I appreciate you, girl. All the ladies of the WNBA, you guys are unbelievable, man. Keep cranking. Love watching you. Caitlin, I love the color, man. Look at these things. It’s the same color you wear. And here we are, Chiefs. Love it, baby.”

Clark dropped a one-word reaction in the comments section.
“SCREAMINGGGG!!!!!!!!!” Clark wrote.
It’s no secret that the 24-year-old is a huge Kansas City fan and has watched several of its games at Arrowhead Stadium. Most notably, she joined Travis Kelce’s wife, pop superstar Taylor Swift, inside a suite at the venue twice last season.
Clark and the Fever have one regular-season game remaining. They will face the Lynx again on Thursday at Target Center. The team is currently fifth in the standings with a 28-15 record.
