The truth behind Sophie Cunningham’s big career decision
Sophie Cunningham reposted the news about her big career decision on Thursday. Her new podcast, “No Hesitation,” released its first episode, with the Indiana Fever star co-hosting it with popular basketball trainer Drew Hanlen. News about the dropping of “Show Me Something” also emerged on the same day.
Cunningham is currently making the most of the WNBA’s FIBA World Cup. She has been keeping her fans updated of her whereabouts with several posts on her social media accounts. The 30-year-old recently spent time with friends at a beach and she uploaded swimwear photos with them.
The Fever will not play until Sept. 18 when they take on the Toronto Tempo. They are currently fifth in the standings with a 26-14 record but have a chance to finish the regular season with the No. 3 seed.

Indiana Fever: Reason behind Sophie Cunningham’s career decision emerges
Front Office Sports reported the reason behind Cunningham’s decision to drop her previous show. It was mainly because of the contract it had with Volume and the changes planned in recent months.
“A source with knowledge of the situation told Front Office Sports that changes to “Show Me Something” had been in the works “for months,” FOS wrote. “The program had an expiring one-year deal and Cunningham and Volume officials wanted a show that was more strictly focused on basketball.”
Cunningham hosted “Show Me Something” with his high school best friend, West Wilson. However, their professional partnership abruptly ended with the show last releasing an episode in June.
Meanwhile, Indiana has four games left and are battling for a top-three seed with the Las Vegas Aces and Atlanta Dream. The team is trailing Las Vegas by one game, and while they share the same record as Atlanta, Angel Reese and Co. own the tiebreaker. Despite the odds stacked against the Fever, they can apply more pressure on them by sweeping their remaining games. However, it’s easier said than done, especially with two matchups with the league-leading Minnesota Lynx.
