Bears WR Luther Burden III’s future wife turns heads on Thursday night
Luther Burden III shined for the Chicago Bears on Thursday against the New England Patriots. He played arguably his best game of the season in the 30-24 win at Soldier Field. However, he wasn’t the only one who turned heads as his fiancée, Kendall Minglae, drew a lot of attention on social media.
Burden finished with four receptions for 130 yards, one touchdown and 92 yards after catch. He ran different routes that caused confusion and extra coverage on him, leaving other targets open. Caleb Williams distributed the football well and once again delivered a strong performance. He completed 22-of-33 passes for 308 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner added five rushes for 18 yards and one score.
Burden entered the season with many praising him for the work he put in during training camp. He is proving that he is going to be a problem for other teams in the secondary.

Minglae posted four photos of her on the field before Thursday’s kick off. The last slide of the Instagram post was her and Burden posing for the camera. She wore a custom Bears statement jacket. It features white and dark blue sections, bright orange trim with “BEAR DOWN” in front. Minglae paired it with denim jeans with custom details and tan suede boots.

Minglae has watched several Bears games live at Soldier Field. The team’s next home game is in Week 9 when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Chicago will take on the Seattle Seahawks on “Monday Night Football” on Nov. 2.
