Jets Injury Report – Breece Hall, Mason Taylor Week-to-Week
The Jets injury report shows some concerns heading into Sunday’s road game against the Chicago Bears. Aaron Glenn said five players are considered week-to-week and did not practice on Wednesday. Breece Hall, Mason Taylor, Adonai Mitchell, Dylan Parham and Kiko Mauigoa were all held out. Hall and Mauigoa are dealing with quad injuries, Taylor has a thumb injury, Mitchell has a finger injury, and Parham is dealing with a knee injury.
Glenn was asked specifically about Hall and whether the injury could be considered long-term. He kept the answer simple, saying Hall is “week-to-week.” He gave the same answer when asked if Parham’s knee injury could require surgery or a trip to injured reserve.
Isaiah Davis Could See a Bigger Role
With Hall out, Isaiah Davis could be in line for a bigger role. Davis hasn’t seen much action on offense this season, but Glenn said that wasn’t injury-related. With Hall and the other skill position players ahead of him, there simply haven’t been many opportunities.
“He’s going to get his shot,” Glenn said.
Davis has been a big part of special teams, and Glenn said that won’t change. The expectation is that his offensive role will increase while he continues contributing on special teams.
Minkah Fitzpatrick Limited
Minkah Fitzpatrick was limited on Wednesday with a groin injury, but there was some good news there. Glenn said there is a “really good chance” Fitzpatrick will play against the Bears.
Jeremy Ruckert was limited with a knee injury, Kenyon Sadiq was limited with a back injury and Kingsley Enagbare was limited with a knee injury. Kene Nwangwu was a full participant despite being listed with a back injury.
