Patriots HC Mike Vrabel addresses Bears ahead of Week 7 clash
The Chicago Bears will return to action on Thursday when they host the New England Patriots at Soldier Field. The visiting team’s head coach, Mike Vrabel, understands that it will be a tough matchup, and he shared his thoughts about the hosts.
Chicago is coming off a 31-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Caleb Williams starred under center after missing the previous three games due to a hamstring injury. He completed 30-of-36 passes for 305 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions, finishing with a 111.2 QB rating.
Meanwhile, the Patriots extended their winning streak to three games on Sunday. They defeated the New York Jets 26-19 in Week 6, with their offense firing on all cylinders. The team has scored 29, 45 and 26 in its last three assignments.

Mike Vrabel speaks on Bears’ strengths
Vrabel addressed reporters on Monday. He highlighted the Bears’ defense and the work defensive coordinator Dennis Allen has done with the unit.
“They’re a physical football team,” Vrabel said. “Defensively, they’re connected, they play really well as a unit. Whether that’s the pressure that they are able to create, the moving parts and the coverage concepts that they had to go with it. Dennis has always done a great job. Players understand it, they play fast, they get off the field. Offensively, they extend drives and they run the football. They were without Caleb for a couple weeks, but certainly you can see the impact that he makes.
“The runners, anybody that touches the ball is going to be physical. Players are going to be a tough tackle. We’ll have to be great tacklers and do something to try to change the fact that their offense is out there for 73 snaps and their defenses is out there for 50.”
