Indiana Fever guard Raven Johnson

Raven Johnson enjoyed a solid rookie season with the Indiana Fever. She became a regular part of the rotation despite playing limited minutes. The 23-year-old almost built a strong bond with her teammates on and the court. She left a comment on Monique Billings’ social media post on Friday.

Johnson appeared in 39 regular-season games, averaging 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists. However, what the stat sheets don’t show is her hustle and defensive prowess. The former South Carolina Gamecocks star also earned more playing time as the season progressed, including in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Billings was also a part of Stephanie White’s rotation. She saw action in 43 matchups and started 31, producing 6.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists. The veteran forward will return to Indiana next season after signing a two-year, $1.6 million deal in April.

Indiana Fever: Raven Johnson reacts to Monique Billings’ Instagram post

Billings posted a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram on Friday. It showed her enjoying the offseason at the beach and having some yoga sessions.

“Factory reset 💆ðŸ½‍♀️,” Billing wrote.

Johnson dropped a two-word reaction in the comments section.

“❤❤❤❤Mo Mo,” Johnson commented.

The Fever qualified for the playoffs as the No. 6 seed after finishing the regular season with a 28-16 record. They faced the Las Vegas Aces in the first round and pushed the series to a winner-take-all Game 3. However, Johnson, Billings and Co. failed to dethrone the defending champions, losing 94-83 on Oct. 1 at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

The teams front office face big decisions in the offseason. Its executives will have to decide on how to deal with their free agents like Kelsey Mitchell and Sophie Cunningham. They could re-sign them both or bring in other free agents to surround Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston with more talent. This season may have been a disappointment, but the Fever will look to bounce backs strong and compete for the title in 2027.
