Friends Spoil Me On My Birthday
I had horrible birthdays growing up. My solution to that has been to advertise my birthday before it comes so that people at least remember, and maybe sometimes I’ll get a little validation from someone. And it’s usually fine! I get a treat here or there and a free dinner from Cat, a couple of cards, and all is well with the world.
This year, things just lined up and I got a LOT of birthday attention! Cash, cards, a U-shaped body pillow, and more!
It was a pagan lesson, so we brought Amara with us when I went to Silver City in Silverdale for dinner. I had steak, a couple cocktails, and for dessert– they have the best key lime pie in a glass (minus the crust).
I feel spoiled and loved.
