A few days later Carlson laid out a 10-point set of goals for “whatever comes next” (fairness under the same rules, limits on foreign wars and foreign influence, immigration restrictions, and related themes). Coverage from Axios, Newsweek, and others noted that he stopped short of a formal launch: no party name, no organizational structure, and no legal filings were announced.
No leadership–Later comments from Greene, reported in early August, said donor and supporter interest was strong but confirmed Carlson was not running for president and that she was not either. Massie lost his 2026 Republican primary to a Trump-backed challenger and is a lame duck; Kentucky rules also constrained any independent bid for his House seat. As of early October 2026, reporting still describes the effort as a movement and a set of discussions among figures sidelined over the Iran war, Epstein files, and related issues–not a registered party with ballot access, an FEC committee, or candidates on the ballot.
So the concrete record is statements, one publicized meeting, and a principles list. Building an actual third party (state filings, signature drives, candidates) has not been reported.”
