Are bank failures abroad designed to prepare us for bank failures at home?
Are they tests so they can prepare to deal with our anger later?

Ueno Bank, a major digital bank in Paraguay, collapsed last week. 60% of Paraguay’s adult population had their money in Ueno Bank. Savings, pensions, everything. Now it’s all gone. The people there have no money to buy food, take the bus, or pay their rent. Now the people are rioting.
A bank collapse of that magnitude is not likely to happen here, but it COULD. That’s one of the reasons why I recommended buying physical silver when it was $19 an ounce and gold when it was $2,000 an ounce. In an emergency, silver and gold will allow you to buy food and other necessities. Those metals could literally save your life.
If you sold your silver stash when it hit $110 an ounce, you made a nice profit. However, now’s a good time to reinvest that profit into some emergency silver coins while the price has dipped. You don’t want to get caught in a crisis like the people in Paraguay.
WATCH WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING AND COPY THEM
You may recall that part of my reasoning for buying silver and gold in the summer of 2024 was because that’s what the central banks of Turkey, China, and India were doing. It never hurts to keep tabs on what the big boys are doing and follow suit. They always know something we don’t.
So what are the big boys doing now? Last month, the Pentagon ordered all U.S. military bases to prepare themselves to survive and operate for 90 days without outside food, power, or supplies. The initiative is called FORTRESS, which stands for Federal Operations for Resilience, Troop Resources, Energy, Supply, and Survivability.
That’s interesting, isn’t it? Apparently, they know something we don’t. In this case, it means you would be well advised to start stockpiling enough food and water to last you a minimum of three months.
The easy way to do that is to buy an extra pound of meat and an extra gallon of distilled water each week when you visit the grocery store. In twenty weeks you’ll have twenty pounds of emergency meat in your freezer and twenty gallons of emergency water.
Do the same with other food items. Each week, stock up a little more, including items that won’t spoil if the electricity goes out. You want a minimum of six months worth of food and water for yourself and your family. A full year’s worth of food and water would be even better. And while you’re at it, get yourself a portable radio, some flashlights, candles, matches, and plenty of batteries. Depending on where you live, you may also want guns and ammunition.
Stocking up on supplies is especially important if you work for someone else, for the simple reason that you could be fired or laid off at any time. Don’t think such a thing couldn’t happen to you. Without even knowing who your boss is, I guarantee you he wouldn’t think twice about giving you the boot if he thought he could save money or make a profit by doing so.
If that happens and you have a six or twelve month supply of food stored up, it won’t be the catastrophe it could have been. The same if your bank goes under. Do you think those people in Paraguay wish now they had stocked up a year’s worth of food?
BE A BOY SCOUT
Preparing for emergencies like this is plain common sense. If you have a family, you owe it to them to plan ahead. Remember all those people fighting over toilet paper when the phony pandemic first broke out? I can tell you that where I live it was mass panic and the grocery stores were picked clean. Don’t wait for something similar to occur. Remember the Boy Scout’s motto: Be prepared.
