The Elite plan to hide in their D.U.M.B.S during the coming apocalypse and then rise from the ashes as the proverbial phoenix to rule those who will have inevitably survived on the surface as a consequence of survival skills, good fortune, and divine providence. The Elite will need a work force comprising surface survivor slave labor to rebuild what is left into their notion of Utopia. (You don’t expect them to rebuild it themselves do you?) What I don’t think the Elite yet realize is that there are a lot of would-be “minions” planning for the SHTF scenario too, who will not be very receptive to the idea of being anyone’s slave. Setting religious beliefs aside, the real question is: Which side do you want to be on in the aftermath of the coming disaster? The one with the well-fed “ruling class” of bankers, lawyers, politicians, and movie stars who come out of their hidey-holes to be the masters of a Brave New World, or the survival hardened veterans made up of your average men and women who have learned to improvise, adapt, and overcome life-threatening obstacles on the surface?
