How to Survive a Nuclear Bomb

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

You may have recalled the Tin Hat Ranch’s video series, “How to Survive a Nuclear Bomb”.  To celebrate our first anniversary we have greatly expanded on the subject in a new Kindle book.  We answer the number one question we’ve had over the past year:

Why would anyone want to survive a nuclear bomb?

This is the first reaction most people have to the title “How to Survive a Nuclear Bomb”. In reality nobody wants to survive a nuclear bomb. They don’t want to ever deal with one in the first place. The problem is the situation is completely out of our control. If you ever have the misfortune of being near a nuclear bomb when one detonates you will be thrust into a world with two outcomes. Either you will be vaporized, blown apart, gravely injured, incapacitated by prompt radiation OR you will be unaffected by the bomb’s immediate effects. Many hundreds of thousands or even millions of people could die in the first minutes of a nuclear event. For most, they are dead before they can suffer. It is the folks that witness the bomb yet find themselves alive and uneducated that will die a most horrible death from Acute Radiation Syndrome.

They taught us how to survive a nuke in our early years of mass brainwashing. You simply wait for someone to yell DUCK AND COVER!!!! And then you crouch down on the floor with your arms covering your head. This works for most of your average nukes.

Ducking and covering is only the first step. Nuclear bombs are very survivable but only if you understand them. Radiation is the real killer, surviving a nuke is about knowledge and this is what the book is about. A gruesome slow death is the alternative.

saw school movies when i was a kid… if on a bicycle ,, drop the bike an cuddle closely to the street curb..

or crouch behind a tree if walking an put head between knees..

or at school,, get under the desk..

see, i still remember.. oh yeah,, crackers an water in the basement..

If it’s a possibility I really don’t want to because of its aftermath….Pop open a cold one, sit on the front porch, and worry no more….
