- Fun fact: Why do we call them ‘upper’ and ‘lower’ case letters? Because in the time of printing presses like the one in the video, the metal letters were kept in drawers. Yep… the ‘upper’ letters were in the top of the case and the other letters in the ‘lower’ case.
