A few hundred miles from the North Pole and above Norway a set of islands called “Svalbard” exist. I have stored many seeds and found them to germinate for at least 3 years after date of packaging. I have to admit that many seeds I have tested were not stored especially well. They sat in my garage on a shelf. I think this points to the durability of seeds.
