‘Prefiled’ VA Anti-Paramilitary Edict Reaffirms Tyrants Fear Armed Citizens

That motto was selected for a reason.

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- A Virginia bill for the 2020 legislative session prefiled by State Senator Louise Lucas on Nov. 21 aims to outlaw the right to train to act in concert with others to defend the community, state, and country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Senate Bill No. 64 aims to prohibit and penalize “paramilitary activity,” declaring “A person is guilty of … a Class 5 felony if he:

1 and 2 presuppose the “civil disorder” hasn’t been precipitated by a government violence monopoly intent on usurping unconstitutional power and ignoring human rights, such as the newly Democrat-controlled State of Virginia is doing with its feeding frenzy of disarmament edicts. As the Declaration of Independence made (and still makes) clear:

Item 3 recalls the “eye of the beholder” adage.

It’s true that the Constitution, through the Second Amendment and through powers delegated to Congress and the President, define Founding intent for “the Militia of the several States.” What’s also true is those in power recognize the threat such a system poses to their continued and growing depredations, and have deliberately undermined “the whole people” with “unorganized militia” weasel-wording that leaves them sidelined while a de facto standing army exists to do the enforcement bidding of parasites intent on securing their rule over “the Blessings of Liberty.”

As Constitutional law attorney and authority Edwin Vieira, Jr., reasons:

That means the Militia envisioned by George Mason is left unprovisioned, leaderless and untrained, and citizens attempting to rectify that are being declared unlawful.

A politician like Lucas can get away with that and expect nothing but support from her constituents. The demographics of her district have guaranteed her over 90% of the vote for as long as she cares to run since there are no term limits for her office. And that, of course, is the way Virginia and other states are going with the deliberate political manipulation to favor Democrats, although to point that out with real-world experience and numbers puts hapless Cassandras at risk of being smeared as “haters.”

If this diktat gets enacted, expect it to be used more as a weapon to intimidate citizens from training together. Expect even more infiltration of such groups by agents provocateur and confidential informants, including coerced friends and relatives, and orchestrated busts for the media of loose-lipped low-hanging fruit to scare the public into believing patriots are domestic terrorists.

Before getting too discouraged over that, don’t forget this has long been the case and serious men know that and exercise caution. What this really proves is that armed citizens scare the hell out of those who would rule – and I’m not necessarily talking about tools like Lucas and her enablers, who probably haven’t thought things through, but about the string-pullers who exercise real power. That’s why they are so fixated on eviscerating the Second Amendment, because they know that just as arms in moral hands can deter, repel and overcome individual attackers, so too does that work on a societal scale.

They know who the figure lying on the ground in the Virginia State Seal represents and they’ll burn the world to keep it from happening to them. What’s important is for a critical mass of our countrymen to know that, too.
