2 Examples of the Big Lie From the Obama Administration

On our radio show yesterday, I asked a question for my liberal friends. How many times will the Federal Government have to lie to you before you realize they are habitual liars? Apparently it is pretty close to an infinite number for some. But I can’t help but think SOME people may have their eyes opened by the avalanche of lies being vomited out of Washington this past week.

Here is just a run down of a two stories from yesterday regarding the government shutdown and the Obamacare rollout that shows the dishonesty, the stupidity and sheer arrogance of the Obama Administration.

Story 1: If you thought closing monuments and private parks was bad, now the administration is trying to shut down the ocean. You really can’t make up stories that are this ridiculous. From the linked article. “Fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown.” How, pray tell, do you “close” 1,100 square miles of ocean? Why would one even need to do so?

According to an anonymous Park Service ranger, “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.” 

Just like sequestration, the administration is choosing to close things strictly as a political ploy. Does an entity like the Federal Government, that eternally gushes about how much they care for you, really act this way?

Yes. And this is just one of the two really ridiculous examples I am using today.

Story 2:

Then we have my favorite Obamacare rollout story. The story of Chad Henderson, reportedly the first person to sign up for Obamacare. And boy was he excited about it:

I’ve now been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chattanooga Times Free Press, The Huffington Post, Enroll America, and POLITICO!! Those stories will be published in the coming days. I have a press conference call with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services later tonight.

The only issue; he never actually enrolled. The media didn’t notice that he lives in a state without an exchange or notice that his profile on Twitter clearly identifies him as Democrat Party activist. When eventually questioned by a Washington Post reporter (after the reporter was inundated by questions on her Twitter account) about his enrollment. Chad’s story changes quite a bit.

We have not purchased a specific.The application has information and once you submit it, it reviews eligibility. Obviously I’m not eligible for Medicaid because our governor isn’t expanding it. And that’s what I meant by enrollment. I had assumed that I never said I purchased a plan or enrolled in marketplace. I’m not backing down on my comments. I have not misled anyone.

So therefore, he didn’t lie and no one has retracted their stories about his amazing enrollment that never happened. Like I said, you just can’t make this stuff up. A government hurting people on purpose, surrogates lying about the wonders of Obamacare, and a press that sits back and lets it happen.

That is what the Federal Government has become. An that is why we fight this nonsense every day. Join us today and get in the fight.
