Today is America’s 250th Birthday! No Constitution has lasted as long as ours. I feel so proud and grateful to be an American. I’m truly blessed to have grownup in this country.

When I reflect on our founding it is truly a miracle our founders were able to succeed in creating the most successful country on the planet. I recently learned about a founder I had never heard of before. Caesar Rodney should be in all our history books. He was one of three delegates from Delaware but he was home suffering from facial cancer so severe it had disfigured his face. He wore a scarf to cover his face. As our founders were drafting the Declaration of Independence they came to a stalemate when one of the Delaware delegates voted for it and one voted against it. Caesar rode 80 miles, all night, in a severe thunder storm to get to the meeting in Philadelphia. He was the deciding vote for the Declaration of Independence. He died not long after. By signing our Independence from England our founders were committing treason, which was punishable by being drawn and quartered. They pledged their lives, their fortunes, and sacred honor. Who today is willing to do that?

And while we celebrate this huge milestone, the Democrats party is electing representatives who hate America and want to fundamentally change it. They call themselves “Democratic Socialists” but they are closer to communists than socialists. They want to takeover the means of production, they want no police, no jails, no ICE officers, no deportations of illegal alien criminals. They talk about “affordability” when it’s their policies that have increased prices of everything. Their fight against fossil fuels and mandate of wind and solar have skyrocketed the cost of energy. Inflation under the Biden Administration was 9%. And open borders allowing about 20 million illegals into our country with no increased housing causes housing costs to increase as well.

Tragically Democrats are not celebrating our 250th Birthday. They are hating it. Some states didn’t represent themselves at the State Fair on the Mall in DC. They cancelled celebrations in their states. They say there is nothing to celebrate. Trump is putting on a huge celebration but they hate it because Trump is doing it. He cleaned up DC, restored monuments and fountains but Democrats say if they are in the White House again they will stop it all.

Obama and Biden flew in plane loads of Muslims from Syria, Somalia and other Muslim countries and located them in small cities where they would become the majority and be elected to local offices as well as Congress. The Left is using “immigration” to fundamentalist change America from what our founders designed. They no longer keep it a secret. The leaders of the Democrat party admit publicly they want to end the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, make DC and Porto Rico states and create a one party country.

If you are over 50 you know this is not the country you grew up in. Our schools have been dumbed down by Teachers Unions and the Department of Education. The majority of graduates can’t read or do math at grade level. Their knowledge of history is nonexistent.

But we still have time to restore the country our founders designed for us. We have a President in Trump who is trying to do that. If we can end voter fraud and keep like minded Presidents for the next 16 years who will finish the work Trump has started we can keep this wonderful country.

I pray every day for this country. Its founding was a miracle and that we’ve survived 250 years is as well. My uncle Norman died fighting against communism. Khrushchev said we’d be fed communism a little at a time until one day we’d wake up as a community country. I pray that’s not going to happen. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
