So yes, temperatures are scorching throughout much of the country and fall is not here yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start enjoying pumpkin spice products early.

While pumpkin flavored food has been around for a long time, there’s no doubt that this drink kicked off the pumpkin spice craziness. Each fall we can look forward to all sorts of food and drink items that are only here during the fall months. Every year it seems to include more unique items like cereal, yogurts, almonds, and even Spam.  Of course, it doesn’t stop at just food & drink items.  As fall approaches you can also find pumpkin beer, Liquor, lip balm, soaps, candles & more.

Get Fall Started Early With These Pumpkin Spice Products 2020

• Dunkin Donuts’ Pumpkin Spiced Donuts, coffee & other new products roll out today! You’ll find seasonal favorites like pumpkin-flavored coffees, apple cider doughnuts, maple sugar bacon breakfast sandwiches, and pumpkin muffins topped with white icing and sweet streusel crumbs. Dunkin’ has also added a slew of new menu items to its fall line-up, including a new signature pumpkin spice latte with pumpkin and vanilla flavors that comes topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar. You can get it hot or iced.  Tea lovers can enjoy the new chai latte (a blend of spices including cinnamon, cardamom & nutmeg combined with milk.) Other new products include cream cheese stuffed bagel minis served warm, steak and cheese rollups, and maple sugar-seasoned Snackin’ Bacon. If you haven’t tried the bacon, it’s a must.  It’s a perfect mix of crispy, with a sweet taste and a hint of spice…my new addiction.
• Starbucks.  It’s been 18 years since the epic Pumpkin Spice Latte was introduced by Starbucks. According to business insider, Starbucks will begin serving this tasty drink on August 25, 2020. In addition to the famous latte you can enjoy pumpkin cream cheese muffins, pumpkin scones & pumpkin cookie straws at the coffee chain. They feature a wafer cookie with a white chocolate and pumpkin coating.  In grocery stores, you can also find Pumpkin Spice Latte creamer, ground coffee & K cups as well as Maple Pecan and Fall blend coffees. This year look for the New Salted Caramel Mocha creamer. Tea lovers can purchase Teavana’s new Spiced Apple Cider sachets. Juicy, crisp apple and warm cinnamon and clove spices come together in this comforting blend that features South African rooibos. There is also a new Lemon Ginger Bliss which is a soothing and warm blend of citrus and ginger paired with creamy notes of strawberry which should make a delicious iced tea.

• Twinings Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea.  New last year, this tea blend will be returning to store shelfs. It’s a mix of cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin pieces, cloves, black pepper, chili and cardamom.
• Cereal.  Frosted Flakes. Back for a 3rd year, your beloved Frosted Flakes breakfast cereal isn’t just covered in sugar during this time of year. This tasty cereal has caramelized pumpkin aromatics delivering brown sweet cinnamon and a touch of allspice and ginger.  For a healthier option try Special K Pumpkin Spice Crunch Cereal.  Cheerios is also bringing back pumpkin pie cereal which is gluten free! • Other Breakfast options: Nutri Grain pumpkin spice soft baked breakfast bars are soft & chewy and an easy to-go breakfast.  Pop-Tartsare their own food group!  Try waking up to a warm pumpkin pie pop-tart.  You can find these at Walmart and several other grocery store chains. Quaker also has Pumpkin Spice instant oatmeal packets so you can enjoy sweet pumpkin and warm cinnamon paired with whole grain oats. Kodiak Cakes has a pumpkin flax flapjack and waffle mix packed with 10g of protein per serving. One of our favorites for breakfast is Pepperidge Farms‘ Swirl Pumpkin Spice bread.  Thomas Pumpkin Spice Bagels & English Muffins. You can start your day out right with one of these bagels or English muffins. Once toasted, they just have hint of a pumpkin flavor so it isn’t too overwhelming first thing in the morning.
• Philadelphia Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese. If you are wanting even more pumpkin flavor on your bagel or english muffin, try this cream cheese. It’s packed full of pumpkin-spiced flavor so a little goes a long way.
• Market Pantry Pumpkin Spice Eggnog. If you love eggnog and pumpkin spice, why not combine the two? Available at Target, this drink is surprisingly tasty.
• Snacks:  Terra Pumpkin Pie Sweets chips have lots of flavor with added cinnamon and nutmeg. Lantana makes a Pumpkin Spice hummus which is a great low calorie option.  Enjoy your hummus with Garden of Eatin’ pumpkin chips.  Pack a handful of Blue Diamonds pumpkin spice almonds for a healthy snack. Chobani is bringing back their pumpkin spice blended greek yogurt.
• Alcohol:  Belgium Voodoo Ranger Atomic Pumpkin. You can enjoy an adult flavored pumpkin drink thanks to this beer.   It combines pumpkin spice, habaneros and cinnamon to give it a spicy kick.  I like Sam Adams Harvest pumpkin ale that is mixed with other season beers in a 12 pack or the Sam Adams Fat Jack pumpkin beer.  Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale is also a good option. You can get pumpkin-flavored vodka or Jack Daniels.  Baileys Original Irish Cream Pumpkin Spice.  Nothing better than a little Baileys in your hot chocolate. Now you can enjoy it with the taste of fall. Kahlua pumpkin spice is also a delicious option.
• Candy:  Kit Kat Pumpkin Pie.  Pumpkin pie lovers can now enjoy the crisp wafers of a Kit Kat filled with pumpkin pie flavored cream.  Pumpkin Reese’s.  Take a Reese’s peanut butter cup and add pumpkin filled Reese’s pieces, and you have one flavorful bite!  These will only be available for a limited time starting in August.  Reese’s will also still have their pumpkin-shaped peanut butter cups.  M&M’s.  Popular from a few years ago, M&M’s has release a their white chocolate pumpkin pie flavor alongside their new Creepy Cocoa Crisp M&M’s.  Godiva Pumpkin Spice Truffles. For some decadent chocolaty goodness, you must try these truffles. They combine milk chocolate and pumpkin spice ganache to make one delectable treat that will melt in your mouth.  Werthers Caramel Pumpkin Spice. This candy gets in on the fall fun with their pumpkin spice addition. Surprisingly, the pumpkin compliments the caramel pretty well.
• Dairy Queen Pumpkin Pie Blizzard. Who doesn’t love a good blizzard? Dairy Queen is combining their famous ice cream with pumpkin for a cool, seasonal treat.
• Williams Sonoma Pumpkin Spice Soaps, Lotions & Essential Oils. The pumpkin craze doesn’t just stop with food and drinks. This pumpkin spice soap allows you to wash the germs off of your hands and be left with the smell of pumpkin spice for hours. While you are there, you may want to pick their spiced pecan pumpkin quick bread, spiced pecan pumpkin or pumpkin chocolate chip pancake & waffle mix, pumpkin ragu braising sauce, pumpkin butter or their new pumpkin spice peanut butter.
• Kind Bars Caramel Almond Pumpkin Spice.  Gluten free and responsibly-sourced, these limited edition bars are a great choice for a healthy snack.
• Cookies!  From Pillsbury pumpkin shape sugar cookies or pumpkin cream cheese ready to bake cookies to Pepperidge Farms pumpkin cheesecake cookies or Keebler’s pumpkin spice fudge stripes cookies, there is no shortage of pumpkin cookie choices this fall. Milano also has a a delicious pumpkin spice cookie.  If you prefer to bake, try the Toll House pumpkin spice chips to add to your own favorite recipe.
• Marshmallows.  Jet-puffed offers seasonal pumpkin spiced marshmallows.  Try it in s’mores, hot cocoa or even a new twist on rice crispy treats.
• Native Pumpkin Spice Latte Deodorant. Hardcore pumpkin spice fans will love this deodorant. This seasonal scent will keep your dry and odor free for hours with its aluminum & paraben free formula.
• Pumpkin Spice Mist.  Bath & Body works released this seasonal fragrance which smells like a mix of cupcakes and pumpkin.

Strangest Pumpkin Spice products.  In 2018, we thought that the spice latte deodorant was the strangest option we had run into. It 2019 it was the limited edition…Pumpkin Spam – yes Spam, blended the product with allspice, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon.  Recipes suggest using it to make a hash or as a topping for pancakes & waffles. Although it’s a bit early to be choosing the strangest 2020 pumpkin product, we are going to go with Mrs. Renfro’s pumpkin salsa for now.  It’s hard to picture pumpkin combining well with tomatoes & peppers, but we are going to order one and let you know.  Can you make any suggestions on strangest pumpkin spice items?
