NSA Invading Our Privacy? Obama Says Not to Worry

By now, most are aware of the fact that not only Verizon, but all cell phone carriers are turning over information to the NSA. Interestingly enough, numerous Congressmen are aware of it and do not believe there is anything illegal about it. They point to the so-called Patriot Act, which became law in 2001, as proof.

Here’s the problem. Whether or not the Patriot Act is legal is very questionable and yes, I realize it was instituted under George W. Bush. While many in Congress defer to the Patriot Act, the real question is whether we should be going back to the Constitution? Is the Patriot Act legal according to the Constitution? I don’t see that it is, yet it is law, isn’t it?
