Not Only Odd But Illogical Also...

Over at Kevin Randle’s blog [kevinrandle.blogspot.com], you’ll find a link to James Carrion’s free book (as a PDF),

The Roswell Deception.

In the comments section, you’ll find, too, a back-and-forth between Mr. Carrion and Adam S referencing Mr. Carrion’s Kenneth Arnold section of the book.

I won’t get into Adam’s inquisitive remarks or Mr. Carrion’s potential comeback, but the Arnold sighting, recently examined thoroughly by Bruce Maccabee in his Three Minutes in June book (reviewed here several months ago), is odd when one looks at it dispassionately.

If what Ken Arnold saw was a formation of extraterrestrial, or even secret, United States military craft, what would be the intent or sense in whizzing around Mt. Rainier in what Arnold described, pretty much, as a frenzied flight, without an apparent purpose?

If the formation was a military test of aerodynamics, it seems a bit crazy, as such craft, as described (seen by Arnold) would be of secret, advanced design, rare and costly.

Buzzing, haphazardly, in the Washington sky, would thus be the essence of economic insanity.

And if the “flying saucers” were part of a vanguard of ET visitors, even a troup contingent from a mothership that came here from another world, zipping around the Washington state landscape would be a kind of extraterrestrial insanity or foolishness.

Coming a very long way, over a very long time perhaps, seems to be deterrent to such aerodynamic silliness.

Nine “saucers” or nine advanced Earthian aircraft, cavorting about the mountain tops abreast of Mt. Rainier doesn’t make any kind of human sense, or even unknown ET sense.

The whole sighting/incident is hard to take as a real event. But there it is….
