Wednesday, Russia sent an official request for sending a delegation to the United States for peace talks with American lawmakers regarding Syria, as America’s key lawmakers in the Senate at the hearing on Syria Wednesday voted to commit a war crime by using military aggression against Syria.
At the Senate hearing on Wednesday, CODEPINK represented most Americans, who, according to recent polls, are widely opposed to attacking Syria. CODEPINK protested the vote by holding up their hands with blood on them behind Secretary of State John Kerry, who presided over the hearing.
Russia sent on Wednesday an official request to meet American lawmakers for peace talks regarding Syria, after key U.S. leaders voted to go to war with Syria. Syria has also asked for reconcilation. Key American leaders in the Senate, however, voted Wednesday to support a war crime by attacking Syria.
As the U.S. Senate voted in favor of illegally attacking Syria (to “save” it), speculations that Russia would send a delegation to Washington, DC for peace talks were confirmed as fact Wednesday when Russian sent that official request to the United States, according to Russia Today in its Syrian Crisis Updates.
The Syrians don’t want war.
Syrian officials have asked the United States for reconcilation rather than starting a war destined to spread and
directly impact Americans, unlike the series of other illegal wars lauched by George Bush and Barack Obama.
Syrian people have formed a human shield to prevent American attacks.
Americans don’t want military aggression against Syria.
UN inspectors in Syria say the alleged chemical attack on Syrians was by U.S.-backed factions.
The UN inspectors are not even convinced that nerve gas was even used, much less that the Syrian government used them on its own people, the illogical scenario Barack Obama and key American leaders are presenting as pretext for war profits.
If gas weaponry was used on Syrians, it was done so by the United States–backed opposition and rebels, according to the UN on Wednesday.
“Our investigators have been in neighboring countries interviewing victims, doctors and field hospitals and, according to their report of last week which I have seen, there are strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof of the use of sarin gas, from the way the victims were treated,” UN’s investigation spokesperson Carla Del Ponte said in an interview with a Swiss-Italian television news outlet.

Denying its government used chemicals on its people as being accused, Syria also stated Wednesday that, if it is attacked, it will defend itself with military action, striking back at those supporting the attack.
“While calling for reconciliation and denying his government used chemical weapons, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal al-Mekdad told the Wall Street Journal if the US attacks Syria, Damascus would strike back not only at Israel, but also neighbors Jordan and Turkey if they participate in hostilities,” Russia Today reported.
“Once the war starts nobody can control what will happen,” he said. “We believe that any attack against Syria will definitely result in chaos in the entire region if not beyond.”
U.S. strikes would strengthen rebel groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda, according to Al-Mekdad on Wednesday, and a host of other political analysts in recent days.
U.S. strikes will not strengthen the moderate opposition forces, those the US has openly supported, he said.
Senators at the hearing voted to attack Syria without boots on the ground. Obama’s drone warfare, of course, make boots on the ground unnecessary, as Obama has proven elsewhere, using this tactic to claim it was not “war.”
